Episode 304 — Marissa Wompler’s Six Flags Birthday Womptacular
hypnotizingchickens replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Comedy Bang Bang
whenever they started about Dabney's skin being discolored I was positive they were going to say it was yellow... or maybe it was just unsaid, because I sincerely doubt he looked like a weptile. -

when I first read this I had my doubts, but his voice does sound eerily similar to Gemberling don't you mean fearal...? -
Episode 48 — Sleepaway Camp

I wasn't a regular listener back when this episode was released, but is it possible that interest in this movie peaked in a major way and that this show, albiet in some small way, played a part in it being released on blu-ray? I do recall them saying that they all watched it on youtube (as most of the listeners probably did, too)... but regardless, if they keep dusting off these hidden treasures, it's possible that they could be doing big things for movies... independent or otherwise. I'm sure my point of view could easily be debunked considering I know nothing about the movie industry... just thought it might be worth mentioning. -

sometimes I wonder if Scott does the entire Wipeout thing even when he's not on mic in daily conversation... something about Jason's reaction to that made me feel like it's quite possible. oh, and there's this: -
Episode 302 — Milkshake Movies

in other other news, Eddie had a short part in last nights finale of (an ahahllll nhehew) Maron... spoiler alert, he dies alone in a trailer in the middle of writing a shitty joke. COMEDY GOLD!! -

my money is on the Kelsey Grammer Sketch Show where she performed alongside PFT and It's Always Sunny's Kaitlyn Olson... and Kelsey Grammer, of course (considering his name is synonymous with... sketch comedy). I've never seen it so I have no reason to believe it's as awful as it sounds, but it is hard to conceive that it aired in 2005. -

hell yes, it's been awhile since Eddie's been on the show... in other news, he dropped an episode of his podcast today (albiet shorter than usual). he's stopped releasing them every week... but regardless, they remain some of my favorite conversational podcasts ever. in short... "it's either molestation or nickels with these people" -

I also saw Spiderman Toe when it was in theaters. in hindsight, I wish I would have used it as an opportunity to get some sleep as well. -

did Scott glean his extreme hatred of fiction from Howard Kremer...? or was that just a solipsism.... or sturm und drang!? I NEED ANSWERS. -
I love all the people simultaneously relating Gooby's appearance to that specific bear... I remember seeing the Shining when I was really young and that scene was one of the only things about the film that truly creeped me out, mostly because I just didn't understand the reference as a child. I guess I had a high constitution for dads trying to kill their entire families and bleeding elevators, but something about ursine fellatio shook me to the core.

please don't confuse my comment for genuine outrage... I tried to make it humorous to bring some levity, but I guess I failed. I just think it's fascinating anytime someone goes to the trouble of joining a forum just to vocalize their distaste for something, especially when the aforementioned person clearly (and admittedly) has little to no context for the show or the characters/guests. I lurked this forum for years, but it never crossed my mind to join and comment anytime I didn't enjoy or understand a performance. that being said, I completely acknowledge and respect your point and we could play devil's advocate about this all day... I just feel that if someone joins a forum simply to articulate hate, the chances of them having anything constructive to say in the future is pretty slim.

yeah, Nathan didn't do much talking... but his comment at the end about being angry if he had watched the movie without having to do the podcast in response to June's "ringing endorsement" was fucking hilarious. anyone who felt a lack of guest should watch an episode of Nathan for You. Paul's comment about him being a genius is an understatement because it is easily one of the funniest and most subversive reality shows on tv right now... especially this season.

I had totally forgotten that Jerry O'Connell was in Burning Love and Piranha 3D with Paul... so I'm sure they know each other. even though I remember him saying in a recent minisode that having friends in these awful movies doesn't necessarily mean they won't cover them, the chances of this movie getting done are probably pretty slim. unless Jerry O'Connell has a serious sense of humor about (arguably) the worst decision of his career...

I really liked the first half of your post, but in the second part where you described creating an account to shit on a guest was where it fell apart... overall, pretty disappointing. imo.

bump, for Gooby's sake. I saw this in theaters at 13 and was profoundly disappointed. it's definitely HDTGM material... I'm surprised they haven't already done it since it was a box-office success that was eviscerated by critics.

When is Affirmation Nation coming back?
hypnotizingchickens replied to Memphish_Boognish's topic in Affirmation Nation with Bob Ducca
I found that kind of odd, too. they could have mentioned Hotwives of Orlando (haven't watched it yet so I'm not sure if he has a character in more than one episode) or even Kroll Show... but I'm not gonna lie, it did make me want more Ducca. somewhat related, as it happened in a different episode of @midnight that I had saved until today to watch, it was great to see Paul F. and Scott yell "technicality no down boo over" at each other during the credits... it was just too perfect to have been unplanned. -
Episode 299 — Don’t Hack the SAC
hypnotizingchickens replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Comedy Bang Bang
yeah, I love lots of Channel 4 shows (Peep Show, Green Wing, Friday Night Dinner, Toast of London... or anything Chris Morris, Graham Linehan or Charlie Brooker are involved in) and I have to be honest, I always thought it was shorthand for BBC Four. you have to admit, it does become a bit confusing when the main BBC channels are named One, Two, Three and Four... kind of off topic, but this thread reminded me... earlier this year, Channel 4 aired a pilot of a show called Babylon. it was directed by Danny Boyle and written by Sam Bain and Jesse Armstrong and it was (to use a colloquialism) fucking brilliant... do any of the Brits that post here have some idea if/when that might be coming back? the internet hasn't been much help whenever I try looking it up... -

ah, I'm glad this episode reminded of the age-old adage "If you have a show, don't put your butt in it" take notes, Louie... however, I'm looking forward to see Scott's "little butt" in the CBB Season 3 finale. -
Episode 299 — Don’t Hack the SAC
hypnotizingchickens replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Comedy Bang Bang
as much as I love Brian Eno's music, Scott calling him "Ol' Sourpuss" will literally never get old. and I think using "Halt and Catch Fire" as a verb is really going to enter the lexicon... especially with computer programmers and AMC-watchers
