Last night I watched S2E21 of The Simpsons, "Three Men and a Comic Book." In the episode, Cloris Leachman plays an old woman who pays Bart to do chores. At one point, she offers him A BARLEY POP. (No mention of Fuckman's Leap, though.)

I kept turning up the song to try to make out the lyrics, then being forced to turn it down because auughh, the chewing!!!

The rambles! The rambles are back! It's been 2 years to the day since the last Pod F. Tompkast Extrasode was released. (Don't get drunk and fight each other.)

It was hard not to cry listening to Scott's intro on the bus this morning. After hearing Harris talk about addiction on You Made It Weird, learning that he was excited about new projects and moving to New York made this even more heartbreaking. Then I tried to listen during lunch, but had to stop cause I almost choked laughing at "Heyyy, Bom! No--who are you?" Well done, Scott and CBB family.

Do we think PFT really didn't remember the "Look it up, Scotty, look it up" song, or was he being...willfully obtuse? Either way, it was fun!

"It's been a whi-ile" is definitely starting to feel like a disorder, as discussed around 1:15. I certainly can't stop doing it. I also can't decide whether I want them to ban it for a while ("a whi-ile") or whether it should keep expanding until the whole show is sung to tunes from Staind's classic album "Break the Cycle".

All I want for Christmas is a nod from Scott.

Some of this show was confusing because I have never heard of U2 (sp?). Does anyone know where I can get information about them?
