Episode 54 — Clark Duke, Our Close Friend
Bozos of Basketball replied to agata's topic in Hollywood Handbook
I guess I just feel like... okay... I thought this would be easier to explain. Ummmmm, wow I'm so blanking. Uh, I was in my seat on the plane (38A). Way in the back, BUT it was a window so I was feelin' pretty good vibes (Andy) about my spot. So then this flight attendant comes around with these little baggies, and starts asking if I want pretzels, peanuts or cookies. I didn't really want cookies because I've seen monsters get hooked on them and I consider myself a monster of rock (and another thing that rhymes with that (I'm built in a certain way)), and pretzels is the same so I figured I'd go peanuts. All of the sudden I open up with bag of peanuts and just think, "what's the deal with these?" I couldn't stop laughing in my mind. So I thought maybe I could take this observation and somehow share it with other people that maybe even had a similar observation themselves but weren't brave enough to say it. Like, I'd be saying what the audience was thinking. I don't know. This probably sounds stupid but I guess it's just my sick sense of humor.- 134 replies

Episode 54 — Clark Duke, Our Close Friend

I was on an airplane twice yesterday for work and got some ideas for stand-up if I was ever gonna do it. They handed out these peanuts to everybody and I just got to thinking, what's the deal with these things, ya know? -

Yeah, could you tell us which guest the story is about but then when you tell the story use different names so it doesn't incriminate anyone? Thanks, Brett. Also, amazing fact about the moon pushing the sky down and creating wind. Proves these guys really are constantly reading science books. Nerds is so cool now, you guys. -

Was a little disappointed that Clark was trying so hard to be "the straight man" with Hayes and Sean. You'd think in 2014 he wouldn't be so narrow-minded. People of all different comedy styles can get married now in non-flyover states like California and Massachusetts. And just a side question to all the ladies in the forums that has no connection to any of the content of this episode: Does I make you laugh? -

Yes, the first question I'll answer is the Halloween costume question. For the third year in a row I'll be going as Randy from Trailer Park Boys because we have the same body type and all I have to do is wear white pants AND I get to go shirtless. -

I feel like a real heel because I've never once got a notification that I can't like any more posts. I only know it can happen because people talk about it happening. Unless you're all making it up so I'll post this and now I have egg on my red face. Red Egg I'm glad you enjoyed the show. I'm so sad I couldn't be there but I had to head down to Universe's Studios to learn more about the biz. Honestly, I'm more confused about what's real life, what's movies and what isn't movies than I've ever been, BUT I got to be in movies. They have rolley coasters there that are MOST CERTAINLY movies! I've seen movies and movies screens before and these were coasters was movies. Three dimensions, sometimes four! And there are lots of little sorcerers running around near the movies rides waving sticks and making things move with their magic, which I think is also movies, by definition. There's dinosaurs movies and yellow men small movies and aliens movies and robots movies and giant green guy movies, and I WAS IN ALL THE MOVIES! I think I'm probably a movies star now since I was in all those movies so I'll sit back and wait for Hayes and Sean to call me now so I can be their close friend on the show. Boy, do I have a lot to discuss with them. -

Who does everyone like better? My allegiances lie with whichever one of "the dudes" most recently liked one of my forum posts. So right now I feel like Sean really carries the show and provides most of the comedy. Hayes is kinda just filler, like a Mike Tirico type. Buuuuuuuut, maybe I could change my mind, if something were to happen, and think that a certain someone is actually all killer and no filler. -

For once Hayes says the truth. -
Thought it was funny that Scott couldn't think of who says "That's a good song!" at the end of the closing up the plug bag theme and then they start talking about the guitar skills of Brendon Small (the person who says it) for the next two minutes.

Can't help but feel like we only got to scratch the surface with Dante. But I guess if we kept scratching some sound might get through that surface so it might be for the best.
