Not gonna lie, I'm a little disappointed that they were talking about The Avengers, and Game of Thrones...and didn't mention the fact that Diana Rigg/Olenna Tyrell originated the role of Emma Peel in the original TV show version of Avengers. (But I loved the episode, I should note)

I cannot beg and plead for this movie to be done enough. It's freaking ideal. I loved this movie as a kid, and then watched it last year for the first time in about 25 years and...my god. It's just so, so bad, and there are so many things about it that are just so, so bad. Described simply on IMDB thusly: "The story of one young man, Cru Jones, who has the intensity and desire to win a BMX race called Helltrack." Add to that the fact that it inexplicably has people like Ray Walston and Talia Shire, directed by Smokey and the Bandit/Cannonball Run director Hal Needham, and the two evil BMX twins look exactly like Xamot and Tomax from the old GI Joe cartoon... Please, guys. Please. I'm begging you. We need Rad.

This is one of the most perfect titles possible for this podcast. Make it so!

Crap, sorry! I did a search and got an error, which I just lazily interpreted to mean that there was no prior topic.

I listened to the Over the Top podcast the other day and it made me think we need the perfect companion piece, The Wizard, starting Freddie "Boom Boom" Savage, Beau Bridges, and Christian Slater in what is basically a 90 minute ad for Nintendo and severe child endangerment and neglect. Seriously, it's the kid's version of Over the Top only instead of arm wrestling, you've got Super Mario Bros. 3 and a villain who says "I love the Power Glove. It's so bad," which was supposed to make it seem awesome but basically just summed up what a shitty product it was.

Guys, I'm begging you, do Toy Soldiers - it's got Sean Astin as a high school John McClane - Wil Wheaton, Lou Gossett, Denholm Elliott, Jerry Orbach, R. Lee Ermey... So fantastic. So bad. And you could probably get Wil Wheaton to join you for the podcast. The movie is available on YouTube.
