Every time I hear Don't Dream it's Over come on my Pandora, I think the same thing. I also thought the same thing about the ear horns. Also, sooooo many wasted opportunities for an emphatic "JIZZ!!!" after singing.

That is an impossible question. Also, I know I'm only a few minutes into the episode, but there definitely hasn't been enough singing yet for my tastes.

I was hoping that with yesterday being Valentime's Day, my wife and I wouldn't have to go mattress shopping, but unfortunately my hope was in vain. Luckily, we have selection here in Tucson. We have just under a million people here, and Google Shopping comes up with four pages of mattress stores. There's 35 Mattress Firms, and countless other Sleep Number, Sleep America, Bed Mart, and independent stores. It's Mattress Madness. It's less than five miles from my house to work, and I pass seven Mattress Stores.

The whole floating away into space is something that my brain decides to dwell on at times, and it terrifies me. I've developed a lot of irrational fears over the last few years for some reason. Same thing with being stranded in the middle of the ocean. I went to Dallas with my wife to see her family last year, and we went out on their boat on a lake, and I was freaked out to get in the water, not knowing how deep it was, not being able to see down into the water, etc. Also, heights. Fuck heights super hard.

I'm an avid Todd Glass Show listener, and I regularly check his website to see his tour dates, and for the longest time there was nothing even close to me here in Tucson, until one day, new dates showed up, and he was going to be in Tempe, two hours away ON. MY. FUCKING. BIRTHDAY. Tickets bought immediately. He was amazing. I fucking adore that man. To George Carlin.

Not that I'm at all complaining, because this is probably one of my two favorite podcast episodes ever, along with The Todd Glass Show #153 with PFT. But yes, I am confuzzled and wondering the same thing.

Years ago, I used to work with a girl who said she was terrified of E.T. and had never seen the movie. Everybody thought it was bullshit, and she was just trying to be weird and quirky. A bunch of us were hanging out one time, and we convinced her to sit down and watch it, and sure enough, we turned it off not too far into the movie because she was in tears. None of us expected it to be true.
