I just discovered this flick last week and I couldn't take my eyes off it. The trailer alone was pretty bad (IN THE STYLE OF THE 80s!) but I was not prepared how awful it really was. It's a Hungarian/American horror movie with a cast that, whether they're Hungarian or not, sound like they're reading a script written by someone with a shoestring grasp of the English language.
The thing is, it's got a stellar voice cast. Tim Curry basically playing Pennywise! Brad Dourif! Lance Henrickson! And... Sean Young... I guess.
Not only that but it's pretty well put together. It looks slick. It's just so, so bad in every other way. Lines so bad I guffawed. I never guffaw.
