I agree. Excellent pirate voicework, silly premise, just hilarious. -

Horse The Band is one of my favorites. So good. Great podcast, excellent guest line up. And that last song was beautiful! -

I hate that I am on the completely opposite side of the country from all this fun shit. > -
Ho boy. Tempted to call in. Chad, can you give us any clues on your wifes mystery disease? Could it be lupus?

Wait a minute, Snake Lee is just an anagram for Steve Agee! (..Give or take some letters.) What do you have to say for yourself, Steve? For shame.

INTERIOR SEMIOTICS. I don't have time to go through 47 pages to find out if someone else ever posted this, but I did a search and the name didn't come up. This is disgusting, meaningless performance art. Skip to about 2:30 because the beginning is just struggling to open a can of expired spaghetti o's. Which she then rubs on her body. Then she masturbates. And pisses. And spouts some nonsense in between. THIS IS THE WORST THING EVER. I feel like I had listened to an episode that featured something performance arty, so I don't mean to retread old ground, and this is sort of old hat on the internet these days, but man, its something you should since once I think haha. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I9lmvX00TLY -
You can't argue, thats just basic math!

Hahah I nearly choked on some food laughing during the Jamaican heckling scene. TANKS MON. -
Episode 163 — Eric the Paid Intern Returns: LIVE at the UCBSunset

Well fuck I just typed up a big post in defense of the musical segments and hit some shortcut to go back to a previous page and lost it all... I don't have the will to retype. I guess this is it. It's been a wild ride. See you on the other side. *jumps off roof* In short, musical segments are solid and I enjoy Matt getting into the stories behind the songs and the spinning it into some improv scenes. Doesn't feel all that different from the regular episodes, tends to be more interesting than some suggestion from the internet... "do farts!" As for the Case Closed I don't have a strong opinion either way. Wouldn't miss it if it was gone, I suppose, but I don't really object to it either. Also, next episode, do farts. -
Episode 117 — Meaty Meaty Hands

Man I'm not even into the second bit and I already love this episode. When he started describing the ingredients for a barbecue sauce and then the whole premise getting twisted into opening their own restaurant. Fucking brilliant shit, boys. -
Episode 119 — Coward of the County

I loved that first bit, but I sympathize with Paul Rust. Panic attacks are not fun, I've never had a full blown one, but come closer than I'd like to have, in front of lots of people. -

Episode 113 — Non-Descript Hole

Jesus fucking christ, the performance art thing. The period thing gave me a visceral reaction. Performance art is THE WORST. Glad it led to some good improv. Gemberling whiffed on the opportunity to say "We're on the hunt... for the cunt." though. -
Episode 135 — Ute of the Butte

This episode is amazing. What chemistry! I am so jealous of all these UCB friendships. I think I laughed the hardest at Bessers yelling in reaction to having his nipples sucked. -
Episode 150 — Shoehorn A Shoehorn Story

The amount of laughter produced by the child molester costume guys makes me uncomfortable. Lol. -

I'll take this type of country over the vapid country pop stuff thats on the radio. I'm not sure if Lucero counts as alt-country or not, but my ex was really into Corey and Lucero (she was a country girl from Little Rock), and I enjoyed them a lot (never heard much of Corey's stuff at the time though), got to see them play once or twice. That said its still not my genre, but I enjoyed the performances on this show (lyrical quirks and all). Really solid episode. Think the rollerskating bit was probably my favorite. -

Wow, really great <pardo>muuuuuuusical guest</pardo>. Scott uses the musical guests way better on the podcast than the way they have been on the TV show (cameos that don't seem to add much to the show :/). I understand the time constraints and format are different, but, yeah. "Too zune" was a great line, and T4F were excellent guests. Reggie's songs were really on point this episode, and that plugs theme was quite nice. -
I love when Scott presses Horatio for directions.
-
One of my favorites. Even if they wouldn't appreciate the callbacks / returning characters at the end, this is a really great episode for a new listener to start on I think.
-
Isn't the forum still active for that? There must be a million entries that have never been used. Maybe it needs its own show lol.

Super solid episode. Great straight guys (well, except you-know-who), great character. I'm not sure if you could get much more out of Liza if she came back, but she's pretty much non-stop laughs in this one, especially when she's rambling in the background while the rest of the gang is whispering about her.

There was actually something in the news about Dr. Bronner so I tweeted @Scott and @James futility hoping it would trigger the character reappearing. I do think he deserves another chance to be on, and have someone more willing to play along as the main guest. That said, James does get a little too strong on some episodes, but I don't blame him for trying on this one. Anyways, I still like this one.

I'm just waiting for the day I spray my monitor at work and all my office mates turn around and give me looks.
