Should Earwolf release shirts...to honor Harris?

Yeah I wouldn't look at it as being exploitative. It would make sense to give the proceeds to something in his honor. -
Episode 7 - Je Suis UCB - OR - (a funny thing happened on the way to the diorama convention)

Well now we NEED a segment called NAME THAT SMELL. You've introduced a Chekov's Bit. I did notice there were MORE ads this show (something like three total?) but they weren't too distracting. Necessary evil, bills to pay. Plus I take that as a sign the show is doing well. Sponsors, baby! -

There was a shirt idea mentioned in one of the clips on the Who Charted tribute today, now I can't seem to find the timestamp where Ku said it but, it was something along the lines of: "I Care About Harebear" Whatever that exact quote was she said would make a good shirt would be nice to make real. -

It is a catchy little tune. Is there a longer cut? I think my favorite bit from this week was the Cosby bit, but the segment about the PA system at the school is a real close second. -

Kulap you are an absolutely lovely human being. You and Scott have really done his memory justice this week. It pains me and everyone else to here how hurt you guys are by this, but we are all glad for the healing power of laughs. Thanks again. Thanks to Stard too for putting this together. And Howard for being Howard. -

EPISODE 335 — The Wedding of Gilli and Garry
CraigEminger replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Comedy Bang Bang
For some reason your post has made me think of / want a (perhaps non-canonical) murder mystery episode. I know the TV show did one, but I would like one here instead with different CBB podcast all-stars. Must include Calvin-Twins (southern gentlemen), Andrew Lloyd Webber, you know, some classy types. Perhaps a Halloween episode. If not, someone please write the fan-fiction, thanks. -

Its the perfect Tinder status. Did they remove the daily "Likes" limit on the forum? Cause I was totally expecting to hit that wall today when going through this thread. So many nice posts from fellow Earwolfians! -

This is beautiful. Thank you everyone. Hard to hear Scott pushing through the grief to deliver his intro, but he really knocked it out of the Fart. RIP Harris. "What about the friend, wheres she? Cause she sounds down to clown." -
Not to mention his pretty sizeable dick on Twitter. I.. am really curious about the story behind that one hahah.

This is the best tribute yet. I'm even more bummed now hearing about his plans to move to NY with Aziz. Things were looking so bright. I loved the e-mail reply thing too, also really laughed about the Chili's stuff, and reading all those lines from that movie pitch in Danny McBrides voice.

Only 20 minutes into YMIW and its already super eerie, talking about how to treat celebrity deaths and laughing at morbid things because you kinda have to to get by. Haven't even got to the personal shit yet. :/
-
I was hoping maybe there would be a best of Harris episode that comes out as a tribute. I would think it might take some time for Scott to be able to soldier through talking about him, but it would be really nice to hear I think. I wouldn't want to put any pressure on them to make it though.

Yeah the AVClub article was nice, and the comments section was full of love for Harris. I was pretty surprised that the Gawker comments were mostly kind, there were some shitty, snarky comments about drug use, but miles away from the vile shit at TMZ. Some people at Gawker called out the author for bringing up that old beef too. Harris clearly touched a lot of people, and made many more laugh. I hope he knew this.

Hahahah Gilbert Goddfried is such a hot mess. I love that Horatio gave a taste of his experience with Keith Richards on CNN. Oh one disappointment I neglected to mention before -- I wish they had done a few more clips of Tracy Morgan (at least one more during that segment). Some people said they thought that was a little morbid, he's obviously not dead or anything, but one clip (though preceded by some kind words) felt like not enough.
-
Oh wow I remember when this happened, which was before I got into podcasts. I had no idea about his ties to Jimmy Pardo.
-
I feel like someone should isolate that audio and do something nice with it.
-
This is crushing me right now. I'm just sitting on Twitter refreshing, watching people say nice things about him and how much they'll miss him. There's going to be a big hole in our podcast hearts now. Not to mention TV. :/ RIP Harris. Man, we'll miss you. Condolences to all those close to him.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO THIS CANT BE REAL EDIT: I hate that TMZ broke this news because their comments are full of horrible fucking people. Fuck them all.

EPISODE 335 — The Wedding of Gilli and Garry

I can't remember if Gary proposed on the show or not, so I apologize if this violates canon: *Gary kneels before Gilly* Gilly: Gary? Gary: Please, call me husband. *Gary opens ring box* -
It sounds like the show in general wasn't well planned/coordinated (by Norm's account), but that joke killed. I don't blame them for keeping it and not compromising, but yeah, they could've found something more interesting to do with Eddie (in another segment at least). Maybe it was that he backed out too late in the process and they didn't have time for a backup plan (the exact timeline of when he was approached and said no is vague, my first read through made it sound like he said OK and then recanted, but I may be wrong about that). Again, sounds like too much of it was sort of last minute planning. In the end the Eddie segment was kinda awkward, but you're probably right about him being a bit tired/weary. I don't blame him for not wanting to do it though, no matter whether it was out of reverence or just not wanting to stir the pot or whatever. All in all, it was a really interesting show. I really liked the audition tapes, the Waynes World sketch was super solid, the bit with Dana and Beyonce (some of the intermediate bits aside), Celebrity Jeopardy, the digital short about breaking (thats the most we got to see Horatio, right? for shame!), and Bill Murray doing the Jaws song. Oh and the "In Memoriam" with the Jon Lovitz and Bill Murray caps was a great tribute with some levity at the end. My main gripe was the Californians and the clips were a bit too short in all those montage segments.. almost wish they left those out and just focused on bringing the old and new cast together for new stuff (and not a verbatim retread of an old skit). But hey I'm not Lorne or anything so, I'm happy with what we got. Anyways, again apologize for being off topic, don't mean to steer discussion away from a great episode!
