I'm going to throw The Slumber Party Massacre on to the suggestion pile for 2016. -
Episode 74 — Halloween III: Season of the Witch

Halloween III and Sleepaway Camp are the two movies they've done that I love both ironically and sincerely. -
EPISODE 119 - Maximum Overdrive: LIVE!

His last reaction can be interpreted so many ways. I thought he was shaking his head like he was disappointed in everyone for dying. -

I shed blood for this podcast. I was listening to it while I was making breakfast and I laughed and stabbed myself in the hand. Only four stitches tough, possibly some nerve damage. Since my left hand stabbed my right, should I assume my left hand is actually a machine? -

I'm still campaigning for Halloween: Resurrection, Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers, or Jason X. Pleeeeeeease. Jamie Lee Curtis KISSES Michael in Resurrection and that doesn't even make the top 5 bonkerist scenes!! Paul Rudd steals. a. baby. in The Curse of Michael Myers! The oral history of this movie would be great. The studio decided it was so bad they had to shoot a bunch of additional scenes but Rudd said no because he was already filming Clueless. So some of the action in the third act is done off camera, like a radio play. Oh, and they ditched the original score for the movie at the last minute so you can imagine that went well. Then there's Jason X. Robot boobs, virtual reality video games, space travel, time travel, just so much goodness! -
Humans made machines. Definitively, without debate. There you go, 30 second movie.

The only big so bad it's good laugh I got out of this was when Emilio Estevez was talking to the truck. Where exactly are a truck's ears?

Any idea what they're doing this year? Fingers crossed for Jason X. -
I got around to watching this last night. It's so loud and just awful to listen to overall that I was angry at it. This is possibly the worst sound-mixed movie they've done, and I'm counting Birdemic. What in the literal fuck was going on when they mixed this? Let's turn Lisa Simpson way the fuck up and BOOM SHITTY AC/DC MUSIC EXPLOSION AC/DC. Fuck this movie.

I saw this movie when I was really young. My brother tricked me into watching it by telling me it was a sequel to Over the Top. All I remember about it was watermelons and AC/DC. Why so much AC/DC? Part of the truck stop mystique? I feel like I see this at every gas station DVD stand. A gas station movie about gas stations... Maximum Overdrive 3:19 - "By the sweat of your dirty brow you will drink your gasoline until you return to the oil well, since from it you were taken; for grease you are and to grease you will return."

I'm just gonna come out and say it, Lake Placid is great.

Call it Tyler Perry's How Did This Get Movie: Based on the Novel Push by Sapphire, then make a revealing making of documentary called Hearts of Literalness. -

I think they need to start doing two Halloween episodes each October. There are just too many good genre films for this podcast to limit them to one per year. -
Episode 74 — Halloween III: Season of the Witch

So I'm watching 1980's The Fog on AMC, and it's a good movie. I've seen it plenty of times just when I was younger. I didn't realize it, but this is also a John Carpenter production featuring Tom Atkins and.... he's banging Jamie Lee Curtis! In 1980, when she was the hottest thing out there, this scuzzbucket is being gross all over her. For reference, she was 22 at the time and Atkins was only 45. GROSS -
