  1. "Don't these guys notice me following them? I've literally been here the entire time.", Exposition-o the Elf thought to herself. "Fuck it, I'ma just walk out there and lay down some backstory - wait, are they really talking about a guy with a three foot dick? What are all those beep noises? On second thought screw this. These guys have issues."

  2. The lack of plot used to bother me, but until one kicks in I'm enjoying these episodes as a type of Seinfeld D&D. The characters are the fun part, whatever they might be doing is not as important.

When Nerd Poker first started a weekly D&D podcast that didn't sound like it was recorded in a bus station bathroom was a rare thing indeed, but now there are a lot of other viable options for plot-driven actual play shows when I need that fix. But sometimes motherfuckers just wanna pierce nutsacks and trace dicks.

  3. Fear not kind sir. Once Steve gets back, I'm certain we'll return to the refined elegance of tracing the genitals of fallen foes into a scrapbook, as Dag continues the tradition of called scrotum attacks in the background.

  4. ' every time the party hears something in the distance and says 'fuck that,' I'm thinking, 'Well, maybe that's Dan's new character '

Ironically, that's how they discover Dan's new character. Something makes a noise in the bushes and they just start fucking it. Granted it's not your normal D&D character introduction, but they do form a meaningful bond right away.

  5. Here are 3 things I thought were going to happen while listening to this that did not happen:

    1. Brian dies by falling (again)

    2. New Dan character revealed as sentient cave Cookie Monster

    3. Blue giants driving fast/weird loud noise leads to a Doc Brown time travel scenario that leads the party to a new place and/or story

    #2 would have been incredible

  6. The Adventure Zone is awesome. They only release a new episode every two weeks, but they're only 6 episodes in as of now and just wrapped up the 5E starter set Lost Mines of Phandelver, about to launch into a homemade campaign. It's 3 brothers and their father, and they're all funny as hell and roleplay the hell out of their characters in hilarious ways.

As for D&D With STS, I have been loving that show and their other podcasts/youtube reviews since it was first mentioned on this thread! They are literally laugh out loud funny to me, and the DM Boss does a great job progressing his story along. Five fuckin' stars.
