I'm about halfway through this movie, and I don't know if I can make it. Couple things I've noticed so far: - This film had no budget for outdoor shots. - Most of the robots look like stacks of VCRs. - The relationship between Tom Selleck and his partner is hilarious. - Is Tom Selleck's son in this movie this worst child actor of all HDTGM movies?

Alright, I just watched Con Air for the first time. At the 30-45 minute mark I kinda just thought it was a run-of-the-mill fairly good action movie, and wondered what the gang would have to riff on. But holy shit did things get really weird. What really makes it a HDTGM movie is that it tries to combine tons of violence, super weird joke beats, and heartwarming sincerity. How did this fucking movie get made? Also, the crazy racism and homophobia in this movie. And, obviously, every word out of Nic Cage's mouth.

I just wasted two hours of my life watching this dumb movie. Obviously the twist ending is what makes this movie bonkers, but mostly it's just a really shitty B-grade romance movie. It's so emotionally manipulative, too. Barf. I hate this movie.

You mean the most definitely, 100% rape scene that the movie bizarrely treats as something other than rape?

I went and watched the movie after this mini-ep, and holy shit is it worth it. Two major things struck me. 1. The movie went from "bad movie" to "hilariously bad movie" at exactly this moment: 2. Tyler Perry just straight up hates women. Holy hell does he just hate the fuck out of women. I said the movie went from bad to hilarious, and it did. But then it went to just weird and horrible. By the end, I was actually angry. I really wonder what this episode will be like because you just can't make fun of this movie without skewering the fact that Tyler Perry is the world's most obvious misogynist.
