Jessica St Clair is always hilarious, easily my favourite.

Very good ep, though I could have done without Emily laughing full volume into the microphone the whole show a la Pete Holmes. Got annoying really fast and doubt I'll revisit this one much for that reason.

Great episode, though I have to admit my favourite part was at the end when Matt said "Join me next time when my guest will be I don't know, haven't booked one yet."

Natasha Leggero's histrionic laughter is like a dentist drill to the ears, and made this a very tough listen. Won't be revisiting this one.

Funny episode as always, but personally I thought this movie was not worthy of HTDGM. To my mind, the show has always been about dissecting movies that have big budgets and/or great casts and still turn out to be terrible. Or in the case of The Room, Birdemic etc, genuine cult classics. This Death Spa is just utterly unredeemable, unknown cheapo trash, like thousands of other 80s straight to video travesties funded by clueless wannabes with a few bucks to throw around. They must have been really desperate to find another gym-themed movie to go along with Perfect.

You know this movie is going to be shoddy when the very first voiceover says "our plane crashed in the vast south Pacific Ocean" ... as the onscreen title says "Java Sea".

Can't agree, I saw it at the cinema and thought it was rubbish then.

Chill out, homedogg. I do listen to her podcast, and it doesn't bother me there. Weird, maybe it was just the HDTGM setting.

Didn't say she wasn't funny, just that I was bugged by the "hm hm hm hm!" laugh after pretty much everything she says.

I think it may be a pretty short trip to madness for Tim Batt, this is the guy used to do a segment on a TV show where he would review public toilets (including a rating for WiFi accessibility) and in one episode turned up wearing a garbage bag.

I'm the opposite - used to find it cute but now I find it very grating and self-indulgent. Still, not as bad as Natasha Leggero's blatantly forced high pitched "laughter" in The Tourist ep. Literally when I was watching the movie I thought "Oh man, I can't wait to hear Jason's reaction to this bit!" Denied.

Welp, they got a shoutout on this week's LOL episode. Unfortunately Paul referred to them as Australian when they're actually New Zealanders. Cue crying Kiwis.
