Guys, Sean said the coupon code for lootcrate is hollywood, right? Because when I entered that at checkout it said invalid but handbook worked. This concerns me for the future of HH.

Genius episode. I love how Matt will just try out new ways of doing the show. Even if it doesn't work, which this does, he always has hilarious people on. Awepisode.

I haven't listened yet but I know I will love it.

Typical me being hours behind everyone, but I too have an HH intro:
Â
So I was talking to Jimmy...Gandolfini,and he was telling me about this upcoming show of his on some box office, probably residential, and he tells me that he's going to do an ARABIAN accent for this Jersey mobster, so I say, "HELLO, why not do a Jersey accent?!" Jimmy then gives me a bear hug, if you could call it that, because this was when he was then. He thought you had to gain 150 pounds for a Jersey accent.

In a good relationship, the [redacted] would be bussin' up right there with you. Those who buss together, stay together.
How come you are not Confucius?

It's a good thing I don't have a [REDACTED] to listen to to this podcast with because they would leave me after how much I bus' up like a little girl.

Awepisode. I laughed so much I don't remember the first half.
Â
Seth talked a surprising amount, usually S+H do most of the talking. Also, the longer format is working really well. It always sucked when they had to wrap it up all of a sudden.

That is so hot and works. Adding this asap (though I'm checking with Shannon first if the forums can handle this mug)
Yo, bro, I mugged it up too.

As much as I love John Oliver, I don't watch his show because I can just read/listen to/watch the news and make my own funny opinions without needing to hear someone else's cynical-masquerading-as-satirical views on it. Although, I'm sure Seattle deserved the burn... Because I'm annoyed by Seattle right now. Truth.
Â
Is there a hangout tonight?
Well I can just ask all of my famous people friends for insider tips to the biz but I still listen to Hollywood Handbook.

Yo, Chanson, still reeling from John Oliver's burn on Seattle last week? Or are you just glad Last Week Tonight is back? I know I am.

I would be interested, but I'm expecting my depression to wrap up in the next few days, so it probably won't be that relevant to me. I mean, it isn't like depression can just go on FOREVER, right?
The cool kind alternates with mania, so there's that.

In an AVC article on the Happy Endings countdown, a commenter said that you could replace "the fat guy" with Adam Pally. John Gemberling and Adam Pally are two separate and hilarious people in their own rights.
Â
Then someone replied to me saying that JG is the worst part of Marry Me and Broad City. What a crazy world.
-
Yo, Valerie, you want a depressing story? Well, alright.
Â
It was a dark and stormy night in October 2013. I had a friend over, a female friend, you see? Yea, you see. Well, anyhow, we was watching some movie. Well, the movie was on but we weren't watching, if you catch me drift. Eventually we get to snuggling pretty hard and move things over to the room with the bed in it. After a while something strange happens and I am no longer able to snuggle. This was strange as I had snuggled probably three whole times by this point so I fancied myself a bit of an expert. I turn to the female and say, "I swear, that's never happened to me before!"
Â
Scary but true.

I don't generally give out likes, so this is a big opportunity for you. Don't waste it.

People talk about how this was good for HH. But at least seven HH regulars listened to this podcast, so that's something. I mean, I already subscribed, but y'know.

This guy must be Dino de Laurentiis because he's producing such cannibalistic madness in us.

This series started off strong with Public Domain and has been mainly good if a little spotty with the subsequent eps, but this one was just so great. I'm a relatively new listener to HH (Hollywood Handbook abbreviated to two letters to save space) and I've been a big fan of Lapkus for some time, so when I saw the title in my podcast app I was stoked to listen and it didn't disappoint. Lapkus is an utter delight, sharp witted and playful, while Clements and Davenport are a pair of real funny fuckers. Mucho kudos to all involved.great job with brevity

Was re listening on the way home from work and the part with the scene machine and hating on CBB is possibly the funniest three minutes of anything.

You have to admit aeroplanes are cooler than airplanes.

"If you want a vision of the future, imagine a wolf gnawing on a human ear forever" -Orwell, a name that I definitely recognize and whose work I have assuredly read
I always thought it was weird how he named the evil character after himself.

This forum will be razed to the ground in no time.
This eppy had me shaking my Groot Shoot with laughter! Can't wait for my order of BIG BAGS to arrive!Â
And yea, super-hyper niche podcast perfection. It was like Teenz Talkin' TCGS but with a smear of Traci Reardon at the end like a horny cherry on top! TOOGOOD
Â
Also the HH guys have very listenable voices and now I am more curious about the content of their podcast considering how easy it might be to listen to it. Hope they have more bed-sharing and/or bad-meat stories on Handbook.
There's a podcast where pubescents discuss The Chris Gethard Show?

To be fair, I have heard precisely those criticisms levied at all three of them from people more qualified to say so than myself. Not saying I agree. Particularly because I own the complete library of Orwell's published works and it would be weird to spend a bunch of money buying all of someone's books just so you can call them lazy and not smart (But if someone were going to do that it would be me, so I guess that doesn't really prove anything.)
Â
I think we should just leave the crazies ("normal people" if this forum were real life and not the fantasy dream land made of gumdrops and positivity that we all know it to be) alone and have their extreme negativity speak for itself. We can just continue down the road of positivity leading us through the cotton candy forest to the promised land (Utah). The Book of Mormon is based on the popular board game Candy Land, right? I don't do well with metaphors.
You're right, Chanson. I totally forgot about Trey Parker and Matt Stone.
Â
I have heard people hate on Orwell but it's always vague. I think people just hate that he created two of literature's most important works while being a big proponent of socialism.
