I was planning on making a joke about how you all have voices made for silent movies but that's just too wrong guys.

To beat a dead horse, Jon's offensive line was possibly the funniest thing I've ever heard. I wonder if he had been trying to come up with it the entire bit.

Watching the episode of You're the Worst with Middleditch and I think to myself, 'What a wonderful actor.' He should be in everything.
-
What did you guys ask Santi Klaus for Christmas? I asked for a sense of humor like Sean's. If he doesn't come through, I am gonna be so mad.
Do you mean
? (Warning: beware of skellingtons.) -
How many times have you guys listened to this ep? I think I've listened to it about five times now. God I'm lonely.
The only pop culture I've tasted between yesterday and today was this episode of HH and the last two episodes of The Knick.

Scott Anchorman and co., this one, and Pual Scheer are all ones I have saved, but I think I am going to go through and listen to them pretty soon, because all of them bus' me up.
Â
Also, Sean, that theme is very difficult. It took my nephew at least two tries to get it right.

Middleditch is immediately fantastic.

Guys I'm scared cuz do I give my real name or forum name when I call? What if I give my real name and then no one knows it's me Dixon?
Just combine them! If your real name is Mick than just say you're Dick!

I was sure that I was going to sleep way past the call in time. Yay!
Â
Also, Andrew, don't you get splinters from that second toilet?
-
Thomas, I have trouble standing up for myself at work. How do you do it?

How many shits does it take to read Infinite Jest?

Am I the only one who didn't really like this episode? Not because of Confrontation Corner, but Sassy Bluff just doesn't work well together. They each kept trying to top each other and forcing call backs. This is probably the first episode where I didn't howl with laughter.

Beat ya to it. I also voted for Hollywood Handbook to receive coverage in Podmass.

This was an awesome episode and I really enjoyed Sean explaining what the opposite of a duck is, very educational.
Â
However, I am worried that Mark might die and they'll have to replace him with someone, possibly named Mike, who will do sound drops that are a happy medium of random funny lines and prescient continuity. That would be a shame.

There's a lot of beef in Northern Ireland, and it's between its own citizens; catholics and protestants. The island of Ireland is divided into 32 counties, 6 of which are in the UK. This is Northern Ireland, a separate country from the Republic of Ireland, which contains the other 26 counties. To simplify things (maybe over-simplify things): catholics are nationalist, they want the island of Ireland to be united as one country, and protestants are unionists, they want NI to stay part of the UK. Catholics used to be pretty badly discriminated against in NI, especially by police (sounds familiar), but sadly the response from a small few was guerrilla style paramilitary action that killed many civilians. There was wrongdoing on both sides. Thousands died in the fighting of what was basically a civil war. An agreement was signed in 1998, but occasionally bad things still happen and people get hurt, on both sides. It's very sad to see.
Â
Sorry to get super serious on the ol' HH forum, but I like my country and don't like when we fight.
But the world then got introduced to Michael Fassbender in Hunger, so all worth it?

Chanson's dissertation made me think of how weird we all are, and I'm curious to what kind of weird movies/musics/tvs you guys enjoy? Eric Andre Show is hilarious, probs my favorite show on tv right now. Wet Hot American Summer be my all time movie of the lifetime. Anddddd the new Panda Bear album leaked and it is glorious, album of the next year for sure..
I watch Wet Hot American Summer at least a couple of times a year, one of my favourite comedies. The mess hall scene between Janeane Garofalo and Paul Rudd is the best thing of all time.
Â
Also, the newest comedy that I instantly loved was Andy Daly's Review. The pancakes episode was to die for.

I loved how off the wall this episode was. S&H are good enough improvisors that they can handle anything. And while Mr. Shore was hilarious it would be good if they could stick to UCB people as much as possible.

This would have been a great time to purchase a lot of Hollywood Handbook merch...

i swear every earwolf podcast I listen to he screws up on. Its getting to be really funny at this point
Â
with the obvious caveat that I could never do what he does
Listened to a recent one recently (forget which) and Scott asked him how many CBBs he's recorded to which he replied "78." He then said it was a guess and I laff'd and laff'd.

40 minutes in and even though Gembering's character has not been introduced yet I am thoroughly enjoying his laughter.

The idea of Pauly Shore being on here is weird. I'v known of him since I was a kid and I've always lumped him with Rob Schneider. I almost asked him a question about that movie where he is a boy scout leader or something until I looked him up and realized that Jury Duty was his only film I've seen.

Mr. Shore, Jury Duty is considered a comedy. However, you give your character a distinct feeling of pathos. Speak on that?

Is it too late for me to try to be popular? I just want everyone to like me like they do Chanson.
