I've been trying to add this through the recommendations but it doesn't seem to be working, so my only option is to write about it on here and hope that someone else out there has had the misfortune of seeing this film.
Now, I love a crappy teen movie as much as the next person, Bring It On is and always will be one of my favourite films, but this...I don't even know where to begin. What started with such promise (I mean, who can argue with a cast that features Megan Mullally, Natasha Lyonne and Jojo in addition to cast members from Pretty Little Liars and Awkward, yet more proof of the kind of crap I love), quickly became so bad it wasn't even good, which is a feat in itself.
Slow motion walk through high school corridor...check
Token sassy black girl...check
TERRIBLE voice over...check
'Straight' mormon turns out to be gay shocker...check
Amazing dialogue such as "what's a sodomite?" "I think it's like a dust mite but with sod"...check
Incessant calling the gay characters 'ladies' or 'girl'...check
As you can see, it pretty much has it all, whilst also having absolutely nothing.
Young Adult Magazine claims "we have a new Clueless", how's that for irony.
