Oh man, you guys, I just found Netflix gold. Paranormal Asylum: The Revenge of Typhoid Mary is definitely worth 89 minutes of your life, if only because one of the main characters has obviously subscribed to the Tommy Wiseau school of acting (and vague Eastern European accents). Directed by someone named Nimrod, it's the story of a guy who believes in ghosts...sometimes? but not seances, his friend who doesn't believe in ghosts until about five minutes in, and a bitchy girlfriend, making a documentary about the abandoned hospital that housed Typhoid Mary (who was apparently a sex slave?).
They spend so much of the movie setting up where all the documentary's cameras are--dozens of them--and yet it is not a found footage movie: there are tons of non-POV shots. Oh guys, I won't ruin any more of it for you. Just...awesomely bad writing, delivery, special effects...this has it all.
