I have no f$&!ng idea how this wasn't mentioned.

 

In the scene with the tank a "cable" flings a 67.6 ton tank into the air without the cable breaking or the bridge being damaged.

 

Also totally plausible that the shitty car at the other end of the cable was able to anchor long enough with out being shredded into pieces.

 

Of course, no one in the tank was injured, and two objects (Dom and Lette) hitting in mid air don't fall straight down why should physics matter...
