Dinstow 4 Posted August 1, 2013 Would Over the Top have made more sense if the kid was originally written as Stallone's love interest, and the Robert Loggia character was his rival for her affection? It also would make all that sexuality towards the girl(kid) relatively less weird. Then someone stepped in and had the woman rewritten to his child. As for the arm wrestling, my only guess is that they just didn't want him in a team sport. I really don't know. Share this post Link to post
