I just saw this on Youtube, and apologies if its old hat to the rest of y'all, but this is ENGROSSING! I always imagined a improv class to be a fun time, but this shit is deadly, deadly serious. It's a peek behind what the people who make us laugh do to get prepared, and it is interesting.

 

The best parts:

 

1 ) Paul Rust shitting on everyone in the group. (You can see this in all four videos)

 

2 ) A student is given the comedy name of "Background" because she doesn't do anything or make an impression on the rest of the students

 

3 ) "Background" starts a scene off by pretending to blow Paul Rust and then two waiters come into the scene. Besser stops the action, gives notes, and then, noticing Background is still on her knees, says, "Get up, Background. You're making me sad."

 

4) The guy who brags about how good he can eat pussy. His pussy eating prowess becomes so legendary -- with the fellas only; no other woman co-signs on his skills -- that it becomes a part of his comedy persona.
