I always though badminton was just a backyard/picnic sport,

Also I tend to confuse polo with croquet, so I was thrown off when they started talking about horses. Also also bike polo seems like a good idea until you catch a hammer to the shins.

As further proof that badminton is a wack sport: it is actually a rule that the referee can stop the game, and invalidate the current point, if the shuttlecock is going too fast and he or she can't see it.
