On a related note, why do all minorities name the Uncle Toms of their race after snacks? Asians (Far East and Subcontinent) call them "twinkies" -- yellow on the outside;white on the inside. Blacks call them "oreos".

So something I found out recently is that Gypsy of MST3k was named after Gypsy Rose Lee, and that was not her birth name.
