Shannon 2953 Posted February 24, 2016 Unlike the other pieces in this collection, here Spalding reads an excerpt of his then unpublished novel “Impossible Vacation", which he wrote in a free-associative style he termed “auto-fiction.” Through the surrogate character Brewster North, he touches upon his own mother’s mental illness and it’s repercussions.
