JulyDiaz 2797 Posted January 29, 2018 Paul F. Tompkins welcomes the audience under the roof of the Bell House in Brooklyn to Spontaneanation! This time out, Paul’s special return guest is humorist David Rees! David chats about which 3 celebrities he would recruit to his post-apocalyptic survival team and why, his time in a barbershop group, and his 3 second only in New York story. Then, they are joined by improvisers Eugene Cordero, Tawny Newsome, and Little Janet Varney, to improvise a story set at a Yngwie Malmstein Concert. And as always, Eban (only the best) Schletter scores it all on piano! Share this post Link to post
Kickpuncher 5012 Posted January 30, 2018 Greatest opening line in improv history? Also, an especially enjoyable episode of the Paul F. Tompkins Hymnal Hour. 2 Share this post Link to post
yeahtoast! 106 Posted January 30, 2018 Greatest opening line in improv history? I was going to say exactly this. It's definitely up there. I also loved the recurrence of "woke up and be'd here" from last year's Sketchfest show with Eugene, Tawny, and Janet. That line might just make another appearance in a few weeks!
