Best free podcast apps for windows 10 and clipping+bookmarking

Hi!

I recently got into listening podcasts. I'm using Castbox on my OnePlus 5T (Oreo 8.1) phone to listen and download podcasts. It allows me to quickly search separately inside my downloads, within a podcast station, etc. 

 

I need a similar free app for windows 10 - 64. Please recommend me. 

 

Moreover, is there any method wherein I can clip important parts of a podcast like bookmarks and add them to a playlist in any windows app and android app?

I use VLC for podcasts as well as every other type of media.  It barely uses any memory and it can play damn near every file type.
