Aimee Mann joins us on our very first episode to discuss her experience contributing her music to the film Magnolia, her thoughts on music piracy, the inspiration behind her new album “Charmer,” and to perform some of her songs live.

This was fantastic, and not just because Aimee Mann is always a fascinating guest. I'm really excited about the Kristin Hersh episode, as well. I can't wait to see who else you end up getting. I'm assuming that this podcast is based in LA. I'd love to hear you talk to Jeff and Steven McDonald of Redd Kross, seeing that they're once again active and relevant.
