Syme 548 Posted November 21, 2012 Positive stereotypes reinforce negative stereotypes. Also positively stereotyping takes away from a person's own achievement. So saying something like "Asians are good at Math" implies they're only good because of their race, rather than their own individual abilities and hard work. Share this post Link to post
