JaneDoe 0 Posted December 15, 2012 One issue with the 'Liz & Dick' episode: homeboy who described 'Freaky Friday' and 'Mean Girls'-era Lindsay Lohan as 'a phenomenal actress' should definitely check his facts. 'Phenomenal' is definitely a stretch. Super hot? Yes. She looked amazing back then. Not a good actress. She's the weakest link in 'Mean Girls,' which is great thanks to good production and great comedic acting from - literally - every single character OTHER THAN Lindsay. She delivers every line in garbled monotone. The 'phenomenal' actress(es) in 'Mean Girls' are Rachel McAdams, Amanda Seyfreid, and Lizzie Caplan. They (and Tina, Amy, the dude who played Damien, etc.) made that movie memorable. Lindsay could be replaced by anyone. Â Not trying to pile on, but I don't think anyone should be surprised by how bad she is in 'Liz & Dick' - it seemed on par with everything else she's done. She's just not as hot as she used to be, doesn't have the same ingenue cache and has a (slightly) raspier voice. Share this post Link to post
