Yeah, I get what you mean. And I don't have any hatred or malice toward the guy, I just have a very low threshold for his longwinded style of speaking. Admittedly I didn't hear the guys laughing in the background because I could not listen that long, I just got so frustrated. And admittedly (again) it would be in bad form for Besser and the guests to bad mouth him on the show right after he was on would be in bad form

We really need a mini-episode of the Mantzoukas take on The Island of Dr Moreau. I imagine he has lots to say about pig lady sex orgies

Love the episode! But I have to agree with some of the other forum posts, Doug the Angry Trumpet Guy is completely impossible to listen to. Besser has to know that he is crazy and totally full of shit, right? Between the inane comments about psychology and the universe, completely getting basic facts wrong (like the population of the US during the Truman administration and today), constantly bringing up minutiae about his life and how long he's lived in Manhattan, and INCESSANTLY saying things like "What you have to know about that is..." or "The interesting thing about that is..." whenever he's talking I have to fast forward. I don't know how Besser or the guests can actually sit there and listen to him Edit: I do have to admit the segment that they did off of the call was pretty great though, so I guess fast forwarding through Doug was worth it.

For the questions and omissions: an additional recommendation for alternate stars (living or dead) Marlon Brando (in his later, fat, totally insane state) and Klaus Kinski. Best. Movie. Ever. Oh also, I just thought of a movie that is guaranteed to be June's favorite movie: a body switcheroo on a plane.

I'd love to see a HDTGM for Dredd in the vein of the Punisher: War Zone episode, because Dredd was seriously badass. Get someone involved with the film if possible and do a comparison with the previously covered shitshow Judge Dredd

Glad this movie got a mention. I think they should do the entire series. Not only because each of them is terrible, bat-shit insane, and awesome, but also because as a series the insanity is kicked up even further. Mostly because there is basically NO continuity throughout them but the two sequels constantly flash back to the other movies for no. goddamn. reason. Amazing.

If nothing else but to hear the number of times Mantzoukas would say "bananas," "what?!" and then exasperatingly ask what the fuck is going on
