    Episode 139 - Simply Irresistible

Genuine question to all the Tom Hiddleton fans. Are you more or less turned on now he has posed for those God awful topless photos. I don't fancy him myself but I can see how he has that sort of rogish/intelligent/sarcastic/bad boy appeal. But those pictures just look so embarrassing. Dad undies, untoned bod and an expression that's less 'come to bed' and more 'I think I left the gas on'

Nah, I stick to David Bowie in Labyrinth and THOSE leggings. Thirty years old today btw

    Episode 139 - Simply Irresistible

I'm mid 30s myself, wasn't being a bitch. Just saying, even if SMG didn't look that old (didn't see the film) she would have to be at least that for her mum to have opened the restaurant 70 years ago,

    Episode 139 - Simply Irresistible

One thing I noticed. They said the restaurant was opened by her mother 70 years ago. SMG looks to be what, let's be cruel, mid 30's. Even if her mother had her late, again say 35, that would make her mother somewhere between 65 and 70 at the time of the film. Are they saying her mother open and ran a restaurant from infancy? Or was it SMG's grandparents place and her mum took it over? If so why to have her say 'this place's been in my family for three generations' I would certainly add to the magic/cooking in the blood theme. Or is her mum a witch and was much older than 70 a la Bewitched and therefore that was what gave her magic?
  5. As a disabled person, I am overwhelmed how offensive this comedy is. Gene Wilder is deaf, Richard Pryor is blind an THAT'S THE ONLY JOKE, Just two people with sensory impairments who've witnessed a crime repeatedly hurting themselves. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0098282/?ref_=nv_sr_1 the fact the it came out in 1989, after the disabled rights movement started is baffling.

    Episode 138.5 - Minisode 138.5

*looks up Charles In Charge on IMDB* oh, okay that does sound quite wrong. a teenage boy just randomly left in charge of kids. Here in Britain we stuck to much safer ground. Like Allo Allo which was wall-to-wall racial stereotypes, sexual innuendo and kinky cross-dressing Nazis. If that didn't do it for you there was always The Brittas Empire: a sit-com set in a leisure centre where the inept manager put his staff and clients in constant risk of death and the receptionist kept her child LOCKED IN A CUPBOARD FOR THREE SERIES

    Episode 138.5 - Minisode 138.5

I've never seen Charles in Charge but I guessed it was your average goofy family American sit-com. However listening to the theme song lyrics I'm getting a very kinky vibe 'I watch Charles in charge of me!'? Sounds very 50 Shades of Grey.
  8. Just one correction. Ashma can be very serious. If you have an attack and it isn't treated someone can die.
  9. This film was made for this podcast. It starts with a humped-back Daniel Radcliff in clown make-up and hurtles downhill from there. It features riffs on Young Frankenstein, an manic, undead, electric monkey in a back brace and James McEnvoy banging on a table and yelling 'babies in jars!' at two women

    Wild Hogs (2007)

Confession: I generally like this film. As the daughter of an aging 'Sunday Monday Biker' a lot of this rings true. Okay maybe not to gay innoendos but the acting like you/re still a 17 year old rebel when you have a wife and middle class lifestyle hits home for me. Also the Home Makeover ending makes me laugh

    Victor Frankenstein (2015)

Personally I like him. He could have coasted on the back of Potter and faded into child star obscurity but he isn't a bad actor and seems willing to make brave and interesting choices. The downside of which is he has made some stinkers, hence my suggestion of this, but I still admire his courage to go for it.

Bump Oh come on! NOBODY agrees with me?

    Dirty Dancing (1987)

This is a movie I kinda missed the big deal about. I knew the hype but never actually watched it. I did go to the stage show though and was struck by how manic the audience were for Johnny despite the actor playing him having a abnormally long neck. I am convinced that they only cast him because he could do the lift.

    Love Never Dies

I know technically it's not a film but they filmed the stage show and it makes no sense. Everyone has different personalities from Phantom, it's set in a freak show on Coney Island, the timeline makes no sense, Christine's son is the most annoying child in musical theatre since Annie and Meg does a strip tease for no reason.

    Love Never Dies

I have nothing bad to say about any of the cast, to get to this level you have to be at the top of your game. It's just look at what they had to work with. The whole of 'The Beauty Underneath' is like a acid trip, The Phantom shows his son a topless women and I don't mean bare breasted I mean without a top half. And poor Meg, In Phantom she's a sweet balletrina in this she's a suicidal prostitute
  16. No, no have to disagree with you there. Most annoying screamer in Batman Forever is the guard Two-Face traps in the safe at the beginning.''WOOOOOOOO WOOOOOO IT'S ACID. WHAT IS THAT?'
  17. So forgive me, I've never watched this or, in fact, Star Wars, but if Life Days is the wookie version of Christmas, a time for family that's so important that Chewie s risking all to get home, why is Lumpy, is father and Itchy's stand-in male role model, spending it jerking off to interspecie porno and not playing with his grandson?
  18. Earth Girls are Easy- as I said before The Mask 2 Son of Mask- Horrible sequel to a classic. A CGI baby trying to murder his father and Alan Cummings dressed as an emo screaming 'Where's my mask?' None of the original cast except for the bloke who played the shrink. Shock Treatment- Not a bad film, just very strange and ambitious. Worth it just for Ruby Wax's reaction to a dead seagull. Carry On Emmaneulle or Columbus. - The Carry Ons are a institution in the UK but these two were shocking. First one is a spoof of a porno where Kenneth Williams is pleasured by a woman while parachuting. Second has a bunch of 80s alternative comics doing gags from the 60s and poor Jim Dale looking lost.

    EPISODE 121 - Perfect: LIVE!

In the thrusting scene on youtube I became obsessed with the guy behind Travolta. He was getting into it a little too much

    Episode 101 — Xanadu: LIVE!

I've just seen this for the first time and have a theory. First thing we see in the movie is an elderly man (Gene Kelly) playing clarinet at the beach. What if he then suffers a stroke and the whole film is his last jumbled thoughts as he lies there with two strangers (Sonny and Kira) who are trying to help him

EPISODE 120 - Masters of the Universe

I can't believe the totally homo-erotic scene where Skeletor has He-Man chained up and is whipping him. Just an oiled up, blonde muscleman practically naked, spread eagled, being whipped and groaning. In a kid's film. Also when Skeletor gets the sword and transformed into the Master of the Universe, he turns into something that looks as if it comes straight out of a Chinese restaurant.

    My Mum out-Junes June

So last night we're watching a tv programme about cults and there's a woman on it whose son joined a cult after listening to a podcast by its leader. My mum looks at me and in all seriousness said 'You listen to podcasts, they're not connected to a cult, are they?' My MOTHER legitimately was worried that Paul, June and Jason was starting a cult. I told her is I start worshipping Nic Cage she could panic.
  23. I have a question. Why has Jedward got a God Damn cameo in this? They're sitting at the back of the coaster and Tara Reed shows hem a photo of her daughter. Who in America knows who Jedward are? The least they could do was to let the annoying little gobshites get eaten but we didn't even see that
  24. Having listerned to the show for ages I realised something. So often I'm watching a film and see something off and just think 'oh that what they do in America' Like the ball in the 'Junior' episode, I just saw it and thought 'oh US drug companies must have that kind of event for their buyers' Am I the only person who do this.
