  1. Some of the short scenes gave this episode a loose, almost frenetic feeling at times, which I definitely enjoyed. Especially when a scene ends due to a "kill line," where there's basically nowhere else for it to go so it ends almost by default, even if it hadn't been fully fleshed out. Too much of that can be tiresome, but thankfully that wasn't the case here. I thought the two newbies had good debuts too, Beth in particular -- hopefully she makes another appearance down the line.
  2. I can only assume the next 'Best Of' is not too far off on the horizon, so, here's what I'd submit so far. Yeah, I know it's a ton to consider. Yeah, I keep track of my favorite ones each time after I listen to an episode. 3. Holy jesus this episode.
  4. Wengert! Lots of good lines in this one, like, "But we could talk about windows all day." "We will!"
  5. So great -- only one scene in, and we're already graced with a patented Brian Huskey I'm-better-than-everyone rant.
  6. I get extra excited for musical episodes now because of all the hand-wringing in the forum to look forward to.

    EPISODE 180 — #RaceTogether

Also, had to mention that Haitian Joe gave me flashbacks of Chris Gethard's 'Egyptian Mike' character. Great stuff.

    EPISODE 180 — #RaceTogether

This lineup did not disappoint. Holy Jesus.
  9. Good ep. Love where the last scene ended up going.
  10. I'd be remiss if I didn't mention how this ep only reinforces why Ian Roberts is one of my favorite improvisors. That phone sex scene alone, my goodness...
  11. Good observation. I noticed that as well! It's nice though, you get a bit more variety with the different episode types.
  12. "Black rappers.... throw a rock, you'll hit one." Love Colton Dunn, haha. Last scene was certifiably nuts -- great end to the show!

EPISODE 174 — Whiplash Ft. Armen

My thoughts exactly -- the madness that would ensue!
  14. Jesus. How could I ever forget about Distraction Baby? I think this one somehow manages to top 30th Monkey as the best bonus scene ever.

    Episode 16 — Memorabilia

Yeah, I've been making my way through old episodes as well, and this one is great. So many good scenes, particular the hotel one. And of course, on top of everything, the Slow Stabber is an all-timer. "This is how you cut a line: You slowly whisper from the back of a store, 'Hey... are you guys ready for a cut?'" Totally forget about that line. So so good.

What a way to close out the episode -- the titular scene was nuts! Definite Best-Of material for whenever the next compilation rolls around. Brian Huskey's rant at the end was so great.

    Guest suggestions

Yes. Zach is so good. The fact that he only appears, like, twice a year on average or something just adds to the legend. It's like a bi-yearly Christmas, but instead of laughing at my presents, I'm laughing at improv. He needs to be back on again soon! When does Silicon Valley start again? It'd be cool if Matt could do an i4h with Woods, TJ Miller, Kumail, and the like.

    Episode 55 — Pussy Snacks

I think it's important we all take a step back and remember that this actually happened.

    Episode 172 — Big Grande

I was actually just about to post what was basically the exact opposite of this. I thought it was a pretty strong episode. I'd definitely be in favor of a Big Grande return at some point. I know Lippert has been on the show a bunch, and Rosenberg and Tarver have also made appearences, so I don't think they're light on improv experience or anything. Most sketch groups actually do a lot of improv anyway, since it's such fertile ground for inspiration.
