    This is the third PB I've ever heard, and I really think this is the podcast for me!

     

    I used to be a male nanny.

     

    I am currently in EMDR therapy.

     

    I am a middle-aged douche who doesn't understand comedy and has a pretty out-of-touch way of interacting with women.

    Maybe not a grepisode, but certainly a goopisode.

     

    I thought that the dead dog thing was the funniest part of the podcast. My roommate and I definitely laughed the hardest then.

     

    Also, the complaints in this thread seem to hover around the argument that Tom didn't respect the form. But as a first-timer who isn't an improv guy and isn't familiar with the format, what would you expect? He's not coming on CBB to make a show for you. Plus, Scott seemed to be having a lot of fun.

     

    I wonder if Tom's webovision show has forums, and what their reaction might be to Hot Soccermom.

    This is the first PB I've ever heard. I'm a big fan of Tig Notaro, I'm vaguely familiar with Kyle and Dave, and I figured that having a pickup artist on the show would generate a lot of weird tension worth listening to. I gotta say, I kinda loved it.

     

    Turns out the Guru of Getting Some is the goddamn worst, but hearing how out-of-touch he sounds compared to intelligent funny people made me feel good about the world.

     

    I loved his "that's not funny" stuff, it was the funniest part to me. Once you hear that, and then you hear his jokes (his delivery on that kite thing?!), you realize he doesn't know what jokes are. I cringed a lot, but it was kinda like hearing some comedians taking my shitty uncle down a peg. I don't think that guy's gonna make $47 off of Earwolf.

    Right?! I know Scott's pretty tall and all, but what the hell is happening in this picture?

     

    Also, Ryan's "Did somebody say crossfit?" bit is C+ as hell.

    I like this episode a lot and I fully expect the usual avalanche of shit whenever anyone expresses a mildly critical opinion, but Alicia Witt's accent is really off putting. I've really loved her work on Justified and Friday Night Lights, but that phony Hollywood diction is sort of the worst. Is it worse than Natasha Lyonne's New Yawwwwwwwk accent? YYYYIIIIIIIT'S close.

     

    I don't know about you guys, but don't you wish that CBB never had musical guests? They're not funny, they talk weird, something about "mum" or a non-existent accent or something...

     

    Us nobodies on the forums, we're the ones who know the way a podcast should be run.

    Jesus Buttfucking Christ.

     

    Brendon Small is my favorite comedian. Home Movies is my favorite show. Junior/Victor is my favorite voice of his.

     

    Also, Dune is my favorite book.

     

    Also also, Gino is my favorite CBB guest.
