Episode 74 — Kumail Nanjiani, Our Close Friend
A Bear replied to agata's topic in Hollywood Handbook
I'd be lying if I said I didn't wipe away a tear at the end of today's ep! Congrats on the now official designation of being funny and nice and cool! -
Episode 74 — Kumail Nanjiani, Our Close Friend

I was curious about this intriguing actor who played Pita, so I looked him up on the Wikipedia and wow!: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Josh_Hutcherson I love how an entry for a 22-old-actor is longer than Stephen Hawking's! It's chock full of really interesting info, for example, did you know Josh is interested in directing? Blew my mind! -

Yes to all of that, and that is exactly how it happened. Mr. Herzog (I of course knew who he was, I loved Fitzcarraldo) did not intervene, having been living among the bears for some time and becoming just as tired of Mr. Treadwell as I had.

SHOULD I BE USING MY REAL NAME? I'M SO CONFUSED
A Bear replied to SteveH's topic in Hollywood Handbook
I was fortunate enough to have a real name that reads well on marquees, but the idea of you having a re-branding campaign this late in the game seems like a logistical nightmare. That said, it has worked out very well for Diddy and The Artist Formerly Known as Prince. -
... well, in a way. Look, all I'm going to say is, that event I described happened in 1960, and certain people's skin fits other people (bears) really well.

Episode 73 — The Gilmore Guys, Our Close Friend
A Bear replied to agata's topic in Hollywood Handbook
I liked how the Oscars clip they were watching was slowed down – it made all the people sound drunk! Lay off the sauce, Meryl! "Not my tempo." -

EPISODE 15 — The Candy Lawrence Show
A Bear replied to JulyDiaz's topic in With Special Guest Lauren Lapkus
Candy Lawrence? More like MARTIN Lawrence, because she was so funny! This was a really bizarre ep, but a grep nonetheless. I've always thought that the best venue for prop comedy was radio. -
EPISODE 72 — Ben Rodgers, DC Pierson, Dominic Dierkes, Eric Appel, Our Potential LIVE Employees
A Bear replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Hollywood Handbook
Haha, I'm doing my best! It can be tough sometimes because my sharp claws can tear the bills, and also I've eaten a few customers and the boss still won't let me hear the end of that. You can take the bear out of the wild but you can't take the wild out of the bear I guess! -
EPISODE 72 — Ben Rodgers, DC Pierson, Dominic Dierkes, Eric Appel, Our Potential LIVE Employees
A Bear replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Hollywood Handbook
I work at 8 in the morning and usually wake up at 6 and listen during my morning routine. It's good to start the day with great loffs before working a soul-crushing job at a bank! -
EPISODE 72 — Ben Rodgers, DC Pierson, Dominic Dierkes, Eric Appel, Our Potential LIVE Employees
A Bear replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Hollywood Handbook
Nice job Tim Treese! I'm a bit of a music nerd (don't hate!) and have been dying for a live version for the longest time. So satisfying to finally get it, and in an unplugged version as well! A rare treat. -
Hah, well, it's kind of a neat story. I was foraging one golden August afternoon when who should hike past my clearing but Mr. Robert Zimmerman himself – that's right, Bob Dylan! He's always been a man of nature, so we bonded over our mutual respect. We sat by the ol' campfire well into the night, just chewing the fat about the music industry and my favorite types of bugs. He at one point pulled out his six string to play me some tunes, trying out some material for his new album. I was intrigued by it, and asked if I could give it a shot. He taught me a few chords, and before long I had really started getting the hang of it! He told me a guitar chooses its owner, and that he had really taken a shine to me. Anyways, I ate him and whittled my guitar from his bones.

Finally, I've been able to achieve what I never could on hotornot.com!

Chelsea is killing it with the Harris memories. Lance Bangs also shared this voicemail from our boy in heaven:

I had always thought it was such a missed opportunity to not have Harris on. He would have gelled so well with the boys.

From Scott on Twitter: "Hi everyone. Thank you for your thoughts. I'll have more to say about it monday The kind folks at IFC were wondering if they should resume tweeting from the CBB account, but only with my permission Harris loved the show, and as recently as Saturday was asking me to make him a recurring character, so I don't think he would mind. Anyway, they're going to be tweeting about it over there, and probably live-tweeting the show happily, so don't think me insensitive." So I guess we're getting something on Monday. Love you Harris.

This is so heartbreaking. I was just listening to his last You Made It Weird interview and it seemed like he was doing okay. Such a hilarious and thoughtful guy. RIP.

Another mention of Nigel – each little trickle of information we get about this guy just makes me want to learn more! A terrific ep, can Cody get a Ricky Ricardo podcast?

EPISODE 13 — The Tom Leykis Radio Program
A Bear replied to JulyDiaz's topic in With Special Guest Lauren Lapkus
So hilarious. This is the perfect format for Adomian to play around in as Leykis. He's having fun with that Mad Decent app. And Lauren's doing her voice from the I4H World's Fastest Toilet Paper Roll scene! Love this. -
Hello, Wayne, welcome to the hottest little corner of the internet Have fun! (Oh, and may I just say, I am so sorry about Steve Irwin. The guy was a treasure.)

You and me both, brother! Who wouldn't love to chew the fat with two of the biggest nerds in the biz? Haha -
Episode 70 — Seth Morris, Our Close Employee
A Bear replied to agata's topic in Hollywood Handbook
Okay, I just finished listening to this episode, and all I have to say is: it's a good thing I wasn't listening to this at night, because I wouldn't ever be able to get to bed! What the (forgive me for this) HELL was Seth thinking bringing up that freaking ghost crap?? My teeth are chattering, and all that's serving to do is remind me that there's a dang skellington in my body trying to get out! I need some earbleach! -
Episode 70 — Seth Morris, Our Close Employee

I'm a little disappointed we didn't get to hear more about Sean's friend Nigel - what an intriguing gentleman! -
Mr. Monsterman, I'm here because you flicked that still-lit clove into the brush on your camping trip in the woods that one time.
