  2. The secret forum is pretty over-rated. It's like this forum but it's always on and never shuts up ever like it just wont stop and after a while it just makes you feel like your screaming into an endless void full of nothing but other voices screaming HELLO? IS THERE LOVE IN THE WORLD!!?? wishing to find a home a purpose a common feeling but never really knowing if anything is being received as intended, is it you? is it them? IS THIS FUCKING THING ON?!! YESSSS!! IT IS!! IT ALWAYS FUCKING IS!!!

I kinda miss it tbh. not the Kev pics tho.

Sean can you believe Hood got a happy ending literally riding off into the sunset? Crazy right? "It's Carrie" omg what a total Anna thing to say! It was good of Tropper to mislead us by saying there would be no happy endings for these "not good" people, made it payoff that much more. Had to rewatch the last 15 minutes right away because I was so tense the whole time waiting for someone to get shot in the head. Any idea what show yourself, Bang, Gabrus, and Conroy will fan the fuck out over next? Let me know.

  4. I'll admit I was a bit wary of the musical episodes when Matt first started doing them, but it wasn't long before I realized how great they were. I'm a big fan of Waxahatchee and some of the songs she does on I4H are the only acoustic versions I can find.

Does Besser always just seek out the musicians himself, or if we throw some suggestions of indie/underground artists he'll take them into consideration? I guess she's really blown up in the last year, but I would lose my socks if he ever got Aurora on the podcast.

I'm not saying I had anything to do with it, but I posted that I thought Waxahatchee would be a great guest and about 6 weeks later or so that ep happened. I think Besser just happened to already dig them tbh though.

I guess my point is MattyB does pay attention to the boards, via Kevin I assume, and his Twitter too, so I say post up some requests Pokwok.

  5. i thought the forum was kind of neat...

I don't mean to disagree with established forum bigwigs, but I'm a bit of a risk taker and a bad boy

I understand Henry, the forum is kind of neat, but it has come to my attention that it could be great again. That knowledge clued me in to the fact that it is not great now, so kind of neat is a bit of settling, and frankly I'm just too young and pretty and hip to settle.

Part of the problem is that all anyone wants to talk about in this forum is podcasts, which I find to be a bit obvious and thus pedestrian. I mean this isn't the damn SPONT forum for christsakes! Now see, I'm doing it too!

After a long hard winter trapped indoors by a malevolent feathered menace (dlroworc) I was liberated and spring has introduced me to a more gentle, if somewhat stand-offish, winged master of the outdoors. During our long communes by local fresh water depositories (lakes) I have come to learn their peaceful and indifferent ways, and thus mastered the stoic insouciance by which I now model my life and all interactions with fellow sad freaks (podcast fans).

I include this short documentary of one of these sessions to illustrate how we can all benefit from their elegance and wisdom.
