    Poison Ivy

I always thought Drew Barrymore was hot as Hell in that movie. That was at the peak of her beauty, her late teens-early 20's. She was even hotter in Wayne's World 2 and Bad Girls, though.

    Like Father, Like Son (1987)

You mean Crazy People, from 1990. I actually liked that movie. It was very funny.

    Hot to Trot (1988)

There''s some funny stuff here, but there is one joke that makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. Bobcat is cooking hamburgers outside his trailer home. Bobcat asks Don the horse if it wants a hamburger, and Don goes, "No. Do you want a peopleburger?" Apparently the writers of this movie forgot that hamburgers are made from cows, not horses.

    Trespass (1992)

With his Back to the Future trilogy co-writer Bob Gale, too.

    Robocop 2 (1990)

I think with the kid in this movie, the filmmakers were aiming for a preteen Tony Montana, and his death was supposed to teach him the lesson that "crime doesn't pay". Yawn.

    In Country

I don't see how an awards-bait Vietnam War drama from Norman Jewison really seems like the type of movie that HDTGM would cover, no matter how bad it is. I think the filmmakers had good intentions here. They probably were trying to make something good, even if they failed at it. Plus, the subject of Vietnam is sort of weighty for HDTGM, don't you think? It would be like them doing an episode on a Holocaust drama. I just don't see how doing a podcast on this movie would be any fun, at all.

    Mad Max: Fury Road

Sounds like Thank God This Got Made material.

Why did they change the theme song?

Cameron H.-No, words are not powerful. Words are just words. Nobody's gonna beat up a mentally-challenged kid because I said "retarded", that's just more political correctness, stifling free speech. Fuck that shit. If you know the context, what's the big deal? This country's become a bunch of pussies. And is there really much of a difference between Tupac and Kanye? Kanye uses the n-word, calls women bitches and hoes, and raps about guns and money, just like Tupac did when he was alive. Both were arrogant as Hell. No, I don't see much of a difference. And finally, Limp Bizkit is not a metal band. Never was. Fred Durst himself has said they weren't. So there.

Why did they change the theme song?

I know what fascism is, must turd. Oppressing speech and thought is fascism. Wake up.

Why did they change the theme song?

Quasar-rap is "wide in breadth and scope"? Don't make me laugh. Every time I hear a rap song, I can't tell the difference between one or the other, it's all the same, talking about "bitches and hoes", smoking the chronic, using the n-word, robbing stores, being money-obsessed, yet people like you wanna shove this stuff down my throat, accusing me of being closed-minded. And yet I'm willing to bet you hate metal music, am I right? Talk about being closed-minded. So please get off my back, would you?

Why did they change the theme song?

must turd...what an accurate description. OK, what did I say in my posts that was racist? Not a damn thing. That's another thing I'm sick and tired of: this idea that if you don't like rap music, you must be a racist. Spare me the politically-correct bullshit, Al Sharpton. I'm not gonna let you play the race card around here. And there's nothing wrong with saying "retarded", Jen. This has nothing to do with the mentally-handicapped. I don't need a speech Nazi telling me what I can and can't say. This political-correctness fascism must be stopped, plain and simple.

    Ghostbusters 2

I thought Ghostbusters 2 was just as good as the first one. Don't understand why people don't like it.

Why did they change the theme song?

Look, I'm just saying there was no reason to change the theme song. The old theme was just fine. Just because some re+arded fan made it doesn't mean you have to use it. This new, stupid rap theme is the New Coke to the old theme's Coca-Cola Classic. If it ain't broke, don't fix it, you know. And I have a right not to like rap music, OK? I'm sick of having it shoved down my throat everywhere I go. And we wonder why the dumbing-down of America is happening.

    Boogie Nights

I think this movie would be more of a candidate for Thank God This Got Made. I'm willing to bet you love Fight Club, right, jmhut?
  15. Ribelin2000

Why did they change the theme song?

And the new, retarded rap version isn't corny? You've gotta be kidding me! And I'm getting sick of people suggesting that anyone who doesn't like obnoxious-ass rap must be old. Seriously, fuck you.

Pet Sematary and Pet Sematary 2

For Heaven's sake, can someone please explain to me why, after two weeks, this topic has only had one reply-by myself? Anybody?

    Freejack (1992)

To Lando: you take movies way too seriously. I don't think the makers of Freejack honestly thought what was depicted in it was what 2009 would actually end up being like. These movies are just entertainment, fantasies, nothing else. As the old saying goes, it's only a movie. People really need to stop acting like movies are accurate representations of real-life. They're not. They're not supposed to be.

    Beverly Hills Cop III (1994)

But AndrewS said that Eddie was much more vulgar and violent in Cop III than the first one. But he was actually more coarse in Cop II than either of the other movies in the trilogy. Plus Cop II was trying to be much more of a "gritty action film" than Cop III.

    The Faculty

    That's cocaine, not crystal meth.

    Beverly Hills Cop III (1994)

What a word salad you've got there. It seems like you've never seen Beverly Hills Cop II either.

    Showdown in Little Tokyo (1991)

"Ice" is actually another name for meth.

Pet Sematary and Pet Sematary 2

Really? No replies after a week?

    Angel Heart (1987)

I bet she didn't know the other twist at the end, though.
  24. Ribelin2000

    Kuffs (1992)

I always thought Milla Jovovich was adorable in this movie (as she always is). Hard to believe she was only 15 when she shot it!

The Adventures of Rocky & Bullwinkle

Well, it is Rocky and Bullwinkle on the big-screen for the first time, but you're right, this movie is crap.
