Samantha Bee is great, always wondered why she hadn't been on the show. As suspected it was a natural fit, totally up for any bit. I like from the Best Of's with PFT that Scott comes back in the New Year with references that only listeners will understand yet seemingly hopeful a guest will latch on. At this point I'd rather not know if Dick Francis was a horse or not.

Weirdo Al takes the 'O' from Dr Demento and suddenly has tenure as bandleader on a weekly talkshow. Well played sir.

Where was Mantzoukas for the mini-ep of 'Talkin' Tang' during the Plugs? There was even talk of Drippin' Milk.

I think the general public have no knowledge that for a tiny fee you or I could be voting on it. They're so obvious every year as well, surprise surprise Adam Sandler is nominated multiple times. They crap on the 'popular' bad movies in an effort to stay relevant, their were far worse movies this year than the ones nominated.

Ugh the Razzies are an absolute farce, the lame nomination skit says it all really From all accounts a lot of the voters haven't even seen the movies. What can you expect though when you can buy a membership to vote; Why do these awards still get a mention in the media?

I really thought Aziz would have done the show again to promote Master of None a couple of months back, especially since Harris was involved with it. Maybe scheduling was an issue?

Lately it seems Scott has really been restraining himself on the "It's been while", well they both must have been held it as long as they possibly could because they more than make up for it in this Best Of.

Holy f'n crap. CBB coming to Australia next year?! Scott has said in the past he's wanted to but never had the right offer.

"8 seconds? Just like Luke Perry did?" - my favourite throwaway line. Today was a complete joy for me, wake up to a double header with Odenkirk and Cross with a helping of PFT. Then after watching W/ Bob and David tonight finding out that Australian Netflix added the Comedy Bang Bang TV today as well which we don't get over here. I think I'll be saying Merry ChrisTmas everyday now.

They floated the idea of Werner during Deep Blue Sea earlier and PFT was all for it, I think it would work just fine since Paul is masterful at finding the right balance and tone. Plus mixing things up every now and then is never a bad thing.

I like this idea but I really want to have Jason and Scott in character then have Andy Daly and Paul F hosting and have them constantly corner and take them down paths they hadn't planned. They've both earned the pleasure of making the lives of those two difficult, especially Andy.

I was starting to get worried in this episode. It took over 20mins for Jason to tell Scott how much he hates him.

PFT did After Earth in studio. We are still waiting for the Herzog episode that everyone seemed keen to do on the live episode though. It is surprising Lapkus hasn't done one yet, Lo Truglio is also a good call if his schedule opens up for one.

The Foam Corner theme really hit hard, a really lovely little tribute and I'm glad Scott didn't feel the need to explain the significance of it to Homme. Was just something for Scott and the fans.

Ol' Sour puss, You didn't listen 2 weeks ago when he was reprising his Gutterman character again for Wompler's Birthday bash?

Maybe send the suggestion to his personal twitter to try and get it to happen.

Zouks and Scott trying to get someone to play themselves and the character by noting their silence is never not hilarious.

I'm a bit of a late comer to HDTGM but this is the first movie they've done that I haven't seen in 20yrs yet don't need to rewatch because I know it so well. Can't wait.

Is this a joke and I'm missing the sarcasm? Claudia is so charming and hilarious that I find it impossible to have a single negative thing to say about her. Scott clearly loves having her on so hopefully she can sneak in another appearance before the end of the year. I love how she rolls with her Aussie-isms for Scott to pick up on so he can jokingly correct them. Like how he does with things from the UK. "Lets go girls"

One of the great joys of CBB is Paul F laughing off mic and he's in peak form here!

Believe me, I got that a lot when I was growing up! Spelt different but it is pronounced the same.
