    Homework: Se7en (1995)

    Whadup whadup.
  2. Scott's "My wife" seemed instinctual yet shameful at the same time.
  3. It's a fantastic episode for sure. Lets hope people get onboard as the tour continues/ "Did David Byrne make an appaerance?" Seems like being on the 7th Anniversary show had Zouks' joke barometer all over the place.

    Episode 419 - The 7th Anniversary Show!

You mean like Lauren Lapkus, Erin Whitehead, Lennon Parham and Jessica St. Clair in years past? Literally nothing to complain about here as CBB/Earwolf is a massively inclusive community all year around and has been for the past 7years.

Episode 418 - Paul Reiser and The Apple Tree

Definitely. Small had said he'd done a CBB recently, but we also got a "that's a good song" at the end of the plug bag a few weeks ago that tipped off the type of shrewd listeners who look up exactly when Shane Torres was on Conan to get a recording date on an episode.

    Episode 134.5 - Minisode 134.5

As an official representative of Australia and it's people even though I've only seen parts of it late at night on TV, the movie "You Can't Stop the Murders" is definitely not a horror (which would admittedly be crazier). It's a comedy featuring a bunch of Aussie comics who all range from ok to poor, so I wouldn't be too confident on the overall quality.
  7. I listen to episodes on my commute Monday mornings because the episodes release on Friday night here then I check the boards afterwards. When it was 11 pages I crossed my fingers hoping it wasn't going to be a repeat of the CBB thread a couple of weeks back. Alas I thought I was crazy for a second until I saw a lot of the more vocal regulars share a similar opinion to mine and thought it was an episode of manic fun especially the second half. It was a little shouty at times but that was more technical side of things. All I could think of after reading this thread though was a Mantzoukas reaction (tone and all) to people who are too eager or ask bad questions at live shows "Ugh you're the worst".
  8. I posted this a few months ago on the old Wolfpop forums but I felt with a more organised forum and larger audience I'd go ahead and put my suggestion here; Obsession about your art. I think this could be interesting. I'm not sure where Amy sits on these films but they were both well received and share similar themes. Whiplash was a fine film though I personally believe Black Swan is Aronofsky's masterpiece.
  9. The show in the Teaser Freezer sounds like something you'd see on the CBB TV Show. "I'm not leaving without my heaaaart". I went and watched the teaser afterwards, what is even more nuts the teaser opens with 'Based on a True Story'

Episode 412 - Little Whittle Whistle

I think my favourite lines from this one were PFT after all the times he has given Scott crap about rambling etc "See this is me not interrupting and look how it's going" and Scott's "And I'm here too!" tickled me to no end for some reason.

Episode 412 - Little Whittle Whistle

The worst thing said in that one was "not my favourite episode" and "wasn't really feeling it". A few of the people in this one have let out hateful bullshit and directly called her out, the first one without even having heard the episode considering how fast he/she(who am I kidding here?) posted. This was an extremely fun ep, as good as any of the best ones so far this year. I guess it's just a reminder that these forums can be the wasteland of reddit or the comment section on a thinkpiece article from time to time.

Episode 412 - Little Whittle Whistle

What was that thing most us were taught? Something along the lines of "If you can't say anything nice?".....

    Episode 132 - Bloodsport: LIVE!

Fun episode! One of the few movies I didn't need to re-watch because it was a childhood movie we watched over and over. Can't really contribute much since this movie is flawless. The fact that the real Frank Dux made a fake trophy from his Kumite victory and tried to pass it off as real is equal parts hilarious and upsetting. Did anyone else think a lot of Nicole Byer's inflections in her voice and reactions sounded like Chelsea Peretti?
  14. It might not be on Earwolf but there is a list on Wikipedia here; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_The_Canon_episodes

    Episode 69 - The Christs

I'm still not sure if this is meant to be sarcastic or not....

    Episode 131.5 - Minisode 131.5

I hope Jon Gabrus is the guest for the Bloodsport show, he loves the movie and did an entire episode on his Podcast with his buddies last year. He is also well aware of all the stuff Frank Dux made up about the Kumite.

    Episode 68 - Antichrist (w/ Michael Lerman)

I'm an avid listener and vote on occasion but yeesh, the Wolfpop forums were awful. They were behind the time for forums in the the late 90's, truly awful layout. Hopefully Devin and Amy can contribute a little easier over here from time to time.

    Episode 68 - Antichrist (w/ Michael Lerman)

I'm a soft yes on this one. It is an excellent, challenging film. But I wouldn't be too disappointed if it missed out. As far as his 'depression' trilogy goes I think Melancholia is by far the better film and would 100% put it in the Canon before this one. Even though it remains one of his best reviewed movies it still doesn't seem to have a prestige level of respect when discussing film with people which I feel is disappointing.
  19. I realised this morning on my commute just how stupidly invested I am in the Time Keeper storyline. When he rejected all things "Time" I audibly let out a gasp...

Episode 403 - This Ain't Now, This is Then

"One is green and the other one is uhh human colour" - nice save, Scott!

Episode 402 - Solo Bolo Trolo

After listening this makes me hopeful for a Lin-Manuel Miranda episode at some point, or at the very least have him give a Reprise of the Olympic solo bolo challenge..

Benny Schwaz solo bolo complete with Hamilton sing-along. Yes Please!

Episode 401 - LOVE Is Thicker Than Water

"Come on down to the Dick Hut" Gilly is so good. Was anyone else hoping that when Gilly mentioned George Lucas being super rich we were going to have a new PFT character? Scott could have a lot of fun with that.
  24. That was time well spent.

Episode 400 - The War on Surfing

Nice to hear Mantzoukas keeping the time honoured tradition of calling Scott an Asshole within 10mins of starting.
