Can and Rhea's conversation was amazingly delightful! I very much enjoyed the "Six Degrees of Sir Francis Bacon" and "Infinite number of monkeys" bits. Gotta love Shakespeare jokes! -
Episode 125 - Casting Auditions for the New Haunted Hayride (w/ Alice Wetterlund, Mandell Maughan, Annie Savage, Matt Gourley)
KatherineIsOdd replied to JulyDiaz's topic in SPONTANEANATION with Paul F. Tompkins
I liked when Matt broke time. -
Episode 124 - Jury Deliberations (w/ Ira Glass, Little Janet Varney, Jean Villepique, Craig Cackowski)
KatherineIsOdd replied to JulyDiaz's topic in SPONTANEANATION with Paul F. Tompkins
I enjoyed "Heart of Glass" and "Squadron goals achieved." And I loved all the silly characters on that jury and was impressed they were able to (mostly) keep track of them all. Bernadette and Bernie were particularly hilarious. -
Episode 123 - Antarctic Research Station (w/ Marcella Arguello, Shaun Diston, Zeke Nicholson, Carl Tart)

Poor Thomas the penguin. -
It was from a segment in Arthur where kids did drawings about their heroes. Here's a low-quality version:

Episode 122 - A Gas Station Only Stopped at During Road Trips (w/ Marc Evan Jackson)
KatherineIsOdd replied to JulyDiaz's topic in SPONTANEANATION with Paul F. Tompkins
OMG, PFT and MEJ FTW! I love their dynamic! I am in favor of these sole guest/improviser episodes! -
I too understood "Pele, Pele, scores great goals," so more than one person got it, hooray! The only other line I remember from that song is "Kristi Yamaguchi skates so well." Congratulations on 500 episodes to everyone at CBB!

Flula is very entertaining. And his physics formulas check out.

And according to the group picture and a Twitter exchange, he brought his mother to sit in and she was the "secret shopper" mentioned. What a good son! -

Episode 117 - Highway Clean Up (w/ Kumail Nanjiani, Emily V. Gordon, Dan Ahdoot, Tawny Newsome, Mano Agapion)
KatherineIsOdd replied to JulyDiaz's topic in SPONTANEANATION with Paul F. Tompkins
Emily and Kumail are fun people. Loved the benign/be nine bit and how long it went on. -
Episode 116 - Backstage at the Grand Ole Opry (w/ Alison Brie, Rebekka Johnson, Kimmy Gatewood, Jackie Tohn)
KatherineIsOdd replied to JulyDiaz's topic in SPONTANEANATION with Paul F. Tompkins
I don't know what the Grand Ole Opry is and I will not look it up, because I prefer to think it's exactly as depicted in this episode, talking horse who rides a horse and all! -
Episode 115 - Labyrinth (w/ Kristian Bruun, Stephanie Courtney, Shaun Diston, Little Janet Varney)
KatherineIsOdd replied to JulyDiaz's topic in SPONTANEANATION with Paul F. Tompkins
Between social media posts and Paul's introduction, the ending of this episode was very highly hyped and I had high expectations, and still wasn't disappointed! Very funny! Liked the callback to Kristian's Nike swoop play. -
Episode 113 - In the Green Room of a Local Morning Show (w/ Nicole Parker, Mary Sohn, Amanda Lund, Maria Blasucci)
KatherineIsOdd replied to JulyDiaz's topic in SPONTANEANATION with Paul F. Tompkins
That improv was one of my favourites so far, so silly! And PFT's reaction to "Munderscore" was priceless. Also, of course my phone's autocorrect knows the word "Munderscore." -

So we get to hear more about that weird school? Hooray! -
Episode 112 - Life Drawing Class (w/ Ted Leo, Colleen Smith, Craig Cackowski, Jordan Black)
KatherineIsOdd replied to JulyDiaz's topic in SPONTANEANATION with Paul F. Tompkins
I love when Colleen plays insane characters, especially men! -
Episode 485 - The 8th Anniversary Show!
KatherineIsOdd replied to Shannon's topic in Comedy Bang Bang
Lauren and her unusually-dimensioned characters! I enjoyed P-nut and his refusal to chime in or do anything helpful with his magic. -
This episode was very funny, I enjoyed everybody poking fun at Scott for his exploding breakfast! I for one, would love it if PFT'S cruise ship captain character returned to Brooklyn 99, or even got his own spinoff! Is there a more perfect premise than "Cruise ship full of criminals"?

Episode 110 - The Manager’s Office of a Miniature Golf Course (w/ Tatiana Maslany, Lauren Lapkus)
KatherineIsOdd replied to JulyDiaz's topic in SPONTANEANATION with Paul F. Tompkins
Your guess is as good as mine. Maybe to sound cooler? I didn't even realize they were Canadian until Paul didn't know what it was. They also serve non-poutined fries and hot dogs and not much else. -
Episode 110 - The Manager’s Office of a Miniature Golf Course (w/ Tatiana Maslany, Lauren Lapkus)
KatherineIsOdd replied to JulyDiaz's topic in SPONTANEANATION with Paul F. Tompkins
Tatiana mentioning New York Fries poutine forced me to go the food court and buy one. I really enjoyed her portrayal of Greg, the rival minigolf course owner, he very quickly became a complete well thought-out character. Tatiana really can do anything! I enjoyed the brief cameos by Ho-Ho, Sunny and Chazmin when Lauren was introduced! -

This sounds amazing, I've been hoping for Tatiana to show up and Lauren is awesome too, can't wait to listen!
