And sometimes the writer doesn't even have to write out "Well, actually" for the phrase to come through loud and clear. The phrase reverse racism/reverse discrimination is especially noisome. Not only does a person use the phrase with an air of superiority, but the bogus phenomenon is always used to justify ignorant and/or racist viewpoints.

I haven't tried them but I've heard good things. I've only tried Michi Ramen, Ramen Fukuya and Jinya Ramen Bar. I like Jinya the best. There was a previous Episode 139.5 minisode thread where the movie was Delgo right? I didn't dream it up?

Oh I thought the show was called Talkin' Texas. There's a drive-through beer store called Party Barn near UT. It's been there for at least 20 years. There are, I think, at least 5 ramen shops in Austin now. And recently a hawaiian poké/Korean restaurant also opened up. One of the biggest Asian supermarket chain, 99 Ranch Market, is going to set up shop in Austin. Looks like Austin is getting more and more cosmopolitan.

The word panty was bandied about A LOT at the beginning of the show. The word doesn't bother me, but I know it bothers many people. MyFriendsFeet.com was actually featured in the buzzed-about documentary Tickled. It was the good tickling fetish website as opposed to the bad exploitative tickling fetish website that is the focus of the documentary. Obviously--OBVIOUSLY--there're much much worse things that can be done to the human body, and also people have their kinks, and I don't want to kink-shame people. Speaking of murder, I hope everyone survived The Purge. I mostly stayed at home, and the only thing I've killed is time. I also went to the newly-opened Jinya ramen noodle house. It's pretty good! There must be at least 5 ramen place in Austin by now.

Gimme, gimme. The boys' SXSW host, Matthew McConaughey will be teaching a form of Hollywood Handbook class this fall at UT, and he will visit the campus at least once. Sadly the class is restricted to RTF majors and is already full. It's also small, so u can't just slip in unnoticed. But there are only 2 doors to the classroom, so it'll be easy to waylay run into Professor McConaughey.

That's my favorite part of the ep. That and Sean's "Love you Hayes," said with the casualness found in oft-used words. I also love Sean's filibuster about "Turbo". That's so out of the left field. I mean, who remembers "Turbo". "This Isn't 'Turbo': The XXX Parody." Tagline: Snail trails are happy trails.

I've searched through the HH forum threads and I haven't seen these tweets about the Mike Lawrence ep come up yet.
