    Episode 180.5 - Minisode 180.5

Their newsletter and Twitter. Maybe I'll get tickets to the Chicago show...
  2. I think your library's cooler than mine. My library only has the DVD called "Pink floyd: the wall-before and after" but not the actual movie.
  3. I can’t find it on Amazon or iTunes. Anyone find it?
  4. Ooooh, I'll be accessorizing arming myself with rose gold.
  5. Ahh! That's Frank from Donnie Darko, right?
  6. I wonder if you can just take regular bullets and dip them in silver? Speaking of silver... Colloidal silver has been used as a dietary supplement, although there are no major clinical trials supporting its purported benefits and it could cause your skin to turn blue. Let's add that to the daily regimen anyway, right after applying sunscreen containing titanium dioxide.
  7. Wikipedia says titanium was discovered in 1791. I wanted to bring up the fact that titanium dioxide is found in many sunscreens and makeup as a UV blocker. So just slap on some sunscreen if you want to protect yourself against skin cancer and Stirba!
  8. So, the human body contains trace amounts of silver and titanium. How does that work when people get turned into werewolves? And what happens when werewolves bite people or drink their blood (or whatever they do in the movie that I half watched)?
  9. Maybe you could explain the girls' attraction to Todd. I never noticed the "Featuring Many Fabulous Dried Potato Recipes" on the cover. WHY? Why is this a thing? The shelf life of potatoes is so long to begin with, you don't need to dry the fucking things. Unless she's talking about how to prepare those boxed instant mashed potatoes? So many questions.
  10. Right? If this was true, PF Tompkins would be a gazillionaire by now.
  11. I love this movie, but this part freaked me out! I dunno, something about his too-big-for-his-body-head and that facial expression. /shudder
  12. True Blood did this storyline!
  13. PollyDarton, you beat me to it. When they showed the shot of Prague's astronomical clock, I Googled "where is Transylvania" because I thought maybe I missed the memo about Transylvania's relocation.
  14. Holy shit, I was thinking about HDTGW - but not based on the podcast. I'm deep into Fire and Fury and I was thinking how did this get written???
  15. He's getting swole for mass.
  16. Didn't need to. The image has been permanently tattooed on my brain.
  17. I visited Stratford-upon-Avon to tour the Shakespeare houses and literally all I remember is the gift shop that had for sale b&w photos of a young Patrick Stewart in a loin cloth from a Shakespeare production.
  18. I loved Nathan Lane too. The sight gags were great, but my favorite moment was when Berowne was trying to get him to do something and Costard says with attitude, "I shall know, sir, when I have done it. Pfffbt." It's these little touches that kill me. For me, Alessandro Nivola will always be the dinosaur egg stealing archeology intern from Jurassic Park 3.
  19. I got such a kick out of Spall's Don Armado. I thought he was very effective with the short screen time he was allotted. The song he did with Moth was hilarious from T to B. It's the little things. He sings about seeing Jacquanetta's face and it's a shot of her derriere at first. When he was singing about cocaine and then this happens I almost died. What a cheeky bastard. Oh, and he says that he's in love with a base wench? I know it doesn't mean this, but I'd like to think Shakespeare invented the term basic bitch.
  20. Loved that part in the movie. Something Rotten had something similar (excuse his floppy sleeve): https://youtu.be/bwZ954sqU_E?t=49s Also, this scene: Reminded me of La La Land!
  21. Aw, poor Matthew Lillard - I really want to give him an A for effort. His body is about 80% limbs, I think. It made for some awkward dancing. I didn't hate it, I just want to give him a participation award. Like this part where he almost crashes into Emily Mortimer: I thought, oh no her poor bones!
  22. It does make a difference to know about the possible sequel. However, then don't use a Casablanca ending in the movie! Another criticism-ish comment I had about the movie is that I thought Branagh stood out like a sore thumb - by being too good. At first I thought the king was going to be the lead, but as the movie went on, I felt like Branagh was the lead. Every time he opened his damn mouth, I believed everything he said. Forgot to mention, I loved that line "that's too long for a play." Ha!
