It wasn't bad. I hope your wife comes around on Tommy. Is her problem with Tommy anything specific or is it just a general hatred? Also, there's nothing wrong with a little Bon Jovi.- 67 replies

Re: Allison Janney - I wish the movie didn't cut out "Mama, I'm a Big Girl Now," the only song in the musical where Allison Janney's character is one of the featured singers.

Forgot to mention this. Eddie tells Cuervo Jones that he killed Snake and that his body probably ended up at the drain. So Cuervo tells Eddie to go there and bring him Snake's head. We do see Snake emerging from the sewers only moments to surf the tsunami. While he's surfing, the wave catches up to Eddie's car, which is also going the same direction as the wave, which means he was driving in totally the opposite direction of his destination. For someone who claims to be an expert of the LA streets, he was way off. -

A few things about this awful movie. (ETA: I had more fun watching the YT clip of Wakaliwood above than this movie) Plutoxin is revealed to be basically the flu. However, Snake is infected via a skin scratch, which is not the way flu virus is transmitted. Influenza virus is mainly transmitted through aerosolized droplets; it has rarely been detected in other bodily fluids like blood. And you wouldn't develop symptom within mere hours of being infected. I think Snake had a case of a placebo effect. The president seems to be all about living a moral life in the new MURICA, but isn't what he did to Snake and his own daughter super amoral? In the Surgeon General of Beverly Hills scene, Taslima says the people there have had so many procedures that their muscles have turned to Jell-O. Not gonna get into it, but I think everyone knows that's impossible. Also impossible? Surfing a tsunami. I thought it was hilarious that they had VR technology, yet they still have to make "tapes" of the VR experiences. What happens to Eddie? He's on the getaway helicopter, but when he sees the incoming missile, he jumps off. Then, he yells "hey, you get back here, Plissken!" and we never see him again. First, you're the one who jumped off first, asshole. Second, does he not see that the helicopter is on fire? -

What? Why? The restaurant is called "Pizza Pizza"? What? Why? OMG, they should make poutine pizza.

Aaaaaand we're back to pork. Don't get me wrong, I would definitely try Smoke's Poutine, triple pork. But, drunk at 3 am, all I think about is pizza.

You're gonna hate me (although Canadian hatred is probably the nicest hatred), but I'm not that into poutine. I like it in theory, but the gravy makes the fries soggy eventually.

Oh, thought of something else. At the end, you know how Velma gets caught on camera while admitting she fixed the polls? Edna and Wilbur are behind the tv camera, but I found it hilarious that the same cameraman whom Velma yelled at earlier for not shooting Amber enough was holding a bag of Hardy Har Hut goods, including the whoopee cushions with Tracy's face on them, slightly inflated. Did Wilbur and Edna bride the cameraman with the joke shop goodies? But then the next time we see Wilbur, he's the one holding the bag of whoopee cushions. Did the cameraman suddenly change his mind that he didn't need all those whoopee cushions?

I'm so glad Marsden got it. He's adorable. Plus, Hugh Jackman will always be Curly to me. I have a few candidates for next week, but unfortunately they all come with catchy songs, so I'm no help.
