Wouldn't you go clothes shopping and then go eat??? I don't think it's that unusual to have restaurants in retail stores. In NYC, there are nice restaurants in Bloomingdale's and Lord & Taylor. I've gone to Bloomingdale's just to get the frozen yogurt.

Maybe fouling Jordan was a legitimate option as a Knick, sadly. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but back then, I think if you were fouled outside the 3 point line, you only got to shoot 2 free throws. So if Jordan sets up to shoot a 3 pointer, foul him and you take the 2 point loss instead of 3?

I thought this meant that she hated math so much that all she did in class was to fold paper airplanes.

Well, I don't know if that sous chef knew a lot about basketball. Earlier, he mentioned a crazy game the night before where Jon Starks was throwing around elbows? But by 1999 he wasn't a Knick anymore. So he must have been such a big Starks fan that he followed his new team? Ugh, this just reminded me of the 94 NBA finals. Still painful after all these years.

Cameron H. - this scene reminded me of you. SMG must have taken a shower and put on fancy pajamas before going out.

I think the Icelanders got a head start.

Yes, I think it is. -
For instrumentals, Futurama and The Simpsons have been mentioned, so hooray. In addition, I love the Bewitched theme song. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ISL-9qHaZcg The Penny Dreadful and Game of Thrones themes are cool too. Anyone remember the Three's Company, Golden Girls, and Saved by the Bell theme songs? We should have a March Madness-type tournament brackets of tv show theme songs where the theme with most votes moves onto the next round.

There should be separate categories for favorite tv show themes: those with lyrics vs instrumentals.

I didn't mind The House Bunny, which is on that list. Hercules, on the other hand, yeeeesh. What a stinker. -

I could see that. I don't own a bathrobe and towels tend to slip. Plus, immediately after a shower, some people like to moisturize, and you wouldn't want that getting on your clothes. -

I could understand that. The first thing I do after coming home from work is to change into PJs. If I get home around 5:30 and if dinner's at 9, then yes, it wouldn't be weird to change into PJs in between. -

I was wondering if "Classics" was a high school class. In high school, we studied The Iliad, but it was in Latin class and translating was involved. But even then, it took only half a semester. The rest of the time, we got to study some ribald Latin poetry, lol. -

She had a glass of white wine in front of her at dinner in Chinatown, but I doubt she drank much of that before she walked out. They were still on soups! When she gets home, we see her with a bottle of wine, yes, but as she's walking towards the couch, you can tell she takes off her shoes. This leads me to believe that she had just grabbed the bottle and was about to start drinking, but IIRC, she got distracted by the scent of cookies and then the chicken call. At TBND's house, they are both seen drinking water. JLo was not drunk. Unless TBND Cosby'ed the chicken? -

You should stock up in case you have an affair with the kid next door and he needs to make a sexual waffle pun in front of your current SO. -

Maybe The Wiz is very fond of JLo's cookies and she always had them around the house. If she suddenly took them away, The Wiz would be suspicious, no? Besides, with JLo always dropping pies on the floor, having emergency desserts on hand is smart. And maybe she wants Corbett to know that she knows. -

EpiPens are indicated for exercise-induced anaphylaxis, so that boxing scene is somewhat believable. However, I think The Wiz's allergist is supplying him with counterfeit EpiPens, because that's not how they work. First of all, the needle in these auto-injectors are maybe 1/4 the size portrayed in the film. I did a double take at the needle, because it was cartoonishly oversized. Second, with EpiPens, the needle is always covered. The orange tip without the visible needle is pressed into the leg then when you pull the EpiPen away, the needle retracts and it's completely covered by the orange tip. Also, if this kid does suffer from exercise-induced anaphylaxis, you'd think the school wouldn't let him participate in vigorous physical activity. Come on, vice principal Chenoweth, I thought it was your job to look at student files. -
