What was your first episode of HDTGM? I think the first episode I listened to was Theodore Rex and the first episode I joined in on the forums was the Star Wars Holiday Special.
Favorite catchphrase? Before it was run into the ground - is this a Jacob's Ladder situation?
A clip or moment that you'll always remember? (timestamps are nice ;)) – Two moments come to mind. The View To a Kill episode (around 54:30) - the gang goes into a riff about the guys who make the models and maps for super villains. And then Matt Gourley chimes in at the end saying that he has yet to see a flaw in this movie. Second, I can’t remember the episode, but I love Paul’s anecdote about how he once tried to French kiss his mother. If anyone remembers the episode, please let me know!
The episode you revisit the most – I don’t revisit any of the episodes (too much new content to keep up with), but I have relistened to the PFT episodes.
The movie that you loved or hated watching – I thank HDTGM for introducing me to Miami Connection and hate HDTGM for introducing me to Garbage Pail Kids.
How HDTGM fits into your weekly routine – I listen to the episode on my commutes and try not to burst into laughter on public transportation.
What the show has meant to you after all these years or any other sappy stuff - I'm thankful that the show introduced me to the special community here. I was introduced to HDTGM by my trainer at the time, who recommended HDTGM and Joe Rogan’s podcast. Imagine how different things could’ve turned out for me if I had gotten hooked to Joe Rogan’s podcast instead?

(That sounds like a silly question, and hate myself for writing it, but I think it's still my question.)
Um, Indy vs Dom?

Cool pick! Haven’t seen this in forever and I’m excited to watch it in HD for the first time. I’ve read her red dress was velvet and maybe now I can finally see some texture

Also, since the father decides whether the child is male or female, at least half of John Travolta's sperm should have sounded like Rosanne.
Also also, those sperm not only got through the diaphragm, but James was on top of the covers and they were both clothed when they started fucking. I'd kind of like to thing those little gamete guys and gals overcame some serious adversity.
Or when the egg tells the sperm to get out of her womb when technically she should've told them to get out of her fallopian tube

Then he becomes Mikey's babysitter, right? So he takes care of the kid. Which is how he bonds with Mikey and slowly falls in love with Kirstie Alley, right? (But they immediate have problems in this one? After all that build up?)
IIRC, Travolta used Kirstie's address so that he could place his ailing grandfather in a nice nursing home. He kept popping up at her apartment in case the nursing home sent mail to that address, and this is where my memory becomes fuzzy, but one day Travolta filled in for a babysitter who cancelled at the last minute and the rest was history.

2 hours ago, Cam Bert said:Also what maybe this is just me watching the movie late last night but why was it so important for Half Pint to get in the fraternity? Was it just that he wanted to be accepted? He could have easily hung out with Dap and his crew but I guess they don't carry the same clout so it is also a status thing as well. I think that's the other reason I had getting into his story in the movie because I didn't get why it was so important to him.
I'm super uninformed on this subject, so please bear with me. Casual Googling says that almost all of the black members of post-Reconstruction era Congress elected prior to 1985 were members of BGLOs (Black Greek Letter Organizations). Prominent black Americans like Martin Luther King, Jr. and Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall belonged to BGLOs. Again, casual Googling says BGLOs were created to unite black students with common principles. And BGLOs at HBCUs (Historically Black Colleges and Universities) can have different pledging processes than those at PWIs (Predominately White Institutions) too. So I think there must be prestige associated with being a part of the select few who pledge and get accepted to BGLOs?

If you haven't seen this, please don't listen to the episode before watching this. It really is a movie that needs to be experienced as it happens.
It's not too late to cancel your plans for the 5th.....

Whoa I just realized Branford Marsalis was Jordan in the movie.
That is really cool. I remember liking the tenor sax in the movie score and I wonder if he was one of the actual musicians for the film.
