Scott Howard: Hi. I'd like a keg of beer please? Old man clerk: [looking at a newspaper] You don't say. Scott Howard: Yeah. How much is that? Old man clerk: You little bastards just don't give up, do you? Listen, no I.D. no goddamn beer. Can't you get that through your thick skull? Scott Howard: [his eyes turn red and his voice changes] Give me, a keg, of beer. [the clerk steps back in fear and go gets a keg, then Scott turns back to normal holding a thing of licorice] Scott Howard: And these.

No one knows the evil hidden by Wheel of Fortune. The wheel hides a sacrifice pit, the Sajak face a mask for Moloch.

I think there would need to be a discussion on the real killer of Ron Goldman. Shelly claimed it, but didn't Gil Faizon do the same last year? Burp.

Too bad they already covered Barb Wire. That one is set in 2017 as well. Total Recall is one they should cover in the year of its setting.

You invite me over just to serve humble pie and crow. How dare you. I'm trying to cut holiday weight!

So I Married An Axe Murderer (1993)

This is, without question, the only film I can stomach with Mike Myers. That's saying a lot. "Heeed! Mooove!" -
Parabolic parables and hyperbolic hyperbole. This is my 2017 resolution, give or take.

Bummer on the paywall timeframe. I agree with the paywall, but I think they should go back a year, especially when you consider the long run of some of these podcasts.

The absolute best part of these episodes is how much Scott laughs. I don't know why, but hearing him genuinely entertained makes me happy. Horatio is brilliant in this one. I wish he was on more often, especially so Scott can say more things like "do you have basic knowledge about anything?" And "shoot a load on me" was great. I think that was Sanz.

I Just Noticed The Paywall for CBB is Finally Up.
IRONicmerMAN replied to HotSaucerman's topic in Comedy Bang Bang
I do agree with the paywall, but it would be nice if all of 2016 was available for new listeners. Only six months cuts out both episode 400 and the anniversary show. Those are two the neophytes should be able to access. -
I think this should get consideration for the cast alone. Keith Moon...Alice Cooper...Regis Philbin!

For one, I think Sir Nicolas Cage is a genre by himself, as is Sly. For two, there are others that fell outside the action genre which I liked as much as the JCVD films. These may not necessarily be genres, per se, but they're categories that I think are best for HDTGM. Big budget fantasies (Battlefield Earth, Pluto Nash) Ridiculous 80's films (Mac & Me, Road House, Howard the Duck, Sleepaway Camp) Passion projects (Birdemic, The Room) Non-genre films (Devil's Advocate)

Maybe that is how people made their selections. I'm no fan of the Solo Bolo/Schwartz & Sanz episodes, but people keep voting them in. C'est la vie. If people "make a note", that note could still be anything from Neil Campbell, PFT, Tommy MiddleD or any other regulars. People like what they like and will vote as such. If 2016 proved anything, it's that democratic voting works for some and doesn't work for others, no matter how good or bad the candidates.
