Ahh, I hope I get to watch this. I've been working all week and go straight into a mini-con this weekend, so it may not be until Monday, ugh... I feel like I've seen parts of this, but never the full thing.

Okay, here's my little batch of photos! What a lovely theater~ As Fister stated earlier, Paul told everyone to put their phones/cameras away until the end when they'd pose for us. Unfortunately, being up in the balcony without a decent camera, everything turned out blurry. Gonna use a spoiler cut, since the guest is in this pic, though idk how you'd know with the blur I was right up front for the second show, but towards the end of the aisle, so my view was a bit skewed. Still, got a couple better pics. Cutting again, especially since the guest was closest to me. So much fun! I'm sad I couldn't come up with a question/discussion for the 2nd event, but the movie was just so... weird, it's kind of hard to discuss lol And as promised, here's the JLS shirt design EternalSammich and I threw together for the show. Will probably pitch it to them on twitter too. Using an iron on transfer just doesn't do it justice.

Seeing it live explained a lot how the live eps are set up, and I can't wait for the final edit. We got to hear Paul completely flub the opening lol, but that won't be in the ep. The Paramount theater was huuuge. Being in the balcony was awesome. The lady who sang a 2nd Opinions opinions song was amazing and I look forward to hearing it again! Taylor, I just wish we could've compared notes more. Maybe once the ep airs...

Oh man, it was so much fun! Great to meet up with Fister and Taylor too! The hardest part will be waiting until the episode airs to share it. I was in front row at the Alamo show, so I got a decent pic of the three while they were doing Q&A. I'll post it later when we get back to San Antonio. So tired. Gonna go crash now. P.S. ppl seemed to like our shirt design, so I'll share that when we get back too.

Man, I'm so annoyed, I sorta remember yeeears back when I lived in Michigan my parents and I had gone to this restaurant that had a framed piece of clothing that Arnold Schwarzenegger had worn that I thiiiink was from The Running Man, and my dad thinks it was from that movie too, but we can't remember what restaurant it was. It's driving me craaaazy!

Listened to the ep, I haven't seen the movie, and probably won't get to for a while, being that my homework tonight is to watch TIMECOP for tomorrow's show, but just a thought I had... Talking about the different levels in the game, is it stated specifically that Subzero(?) is ALWAYS the first opponent? Because it's possible that they could rotate their stalkers between different episodes of the show, thus allowing the other stalkers to gain their own fan followings.

lol omg I just... second guess everything I design, so if you both like it, I'll feel better. That's all.

I'm going! To both shows. Along with my roommate, EternalSammich, who rarely posts here. I am extremely anxious. I wasn't able to order a HDTGM shirt for the show, so I actually came up with a very basic Jacob's Ladder-themed design to iron on to a shirt, and Sammich helped me set it up, but I'm not sure if I should share considering how unpopular the joke is here lol; Will probably still make it to wear for the show at least.

I have never seen this movie, but just the cover makes me excited!

The Japanese series Hetalia (that I devote too much of my life to) started producing musicals this past year. They recently announced their third production. I have a friend who has been trying to translate the first one, and she kindly streamed the first two for me. They are soooo paaainful to watch. I don't remember the first one that much, but the second one opens with the characters pretending to swim across the ocean and it is fucking ridiculous. But what absolutely killed me was when one of the characters came out WEARING A STROLLER to play his baby self.

I loooove Secret of NIMH. It's been a favorite of mine since I was little, and still holds up for the most part. Saying An American Tail is a predecessor to this rodent society would be an interesting take. As long as we can all agree that Secret of NIMH 2 NEVER HAPPENED. I've heard Plague Dogs is also very dark, but I've never seen it. I saw Watership Down when I was young and NOT READY for it, but y'know, cartoons are only for little kids, right???

Oh man, I loved this movie when I was little. I think there's still a big stuffed toy of Fievel down in my parents' basement somewhere. Just gotta find some time to watch this. They've been working me a bunch this past month.

Yo. I watched this in one sitting. And tbh I liked it more than I liked Rent. That's not to say I think it's great, it's quite obviously flawed. But as someone who's watched plenty of bad horror movies for fun, this was campy enough to be enjoyable. But yeah, a lot of it doesn't make sense. My biggest question was if Repo Man was taking back X organ and leaving the person for dead, why not salvage a few others too? Get some bonuses for your work. I got the impression that there must be other Repomen, because when Nathan's asked to go after Blind Mag, he says "get someone else to do it". It seemed like Rotti wanted Nathan to do it, just because of the connection. Actually what a small world this was lol I was pretty much laughing at Blind Mag being shoehorned in as Shilo's mother's old best friend. I think just having her be an idol who warns Shilo not to get involved would have been enough. Also removing eyes would probably NOT kill someone, so IDK why they have such a huge bloodlust to get her lol

This is unrelated to anything, but Sammich and I finished this print to celebrate the new Guardians of the Galaxy (which we have NOT SEEN but w/e) and I didn't know where else to post it

I gave in and got tickets! we are so fucking excited!! Thanks for mentioning it here, Fister. I got the email, but it got shifted off into a promotions folder and didn't notify me ugh...

Fff what Tempting. I decided to stay overnight so I don't have to drive back to SA after the show at night, but that depends on when I have to check-in where I'm staying...

I lied. Sammich bought the movie today and we're watching it now.

Idk if I'll get to watch this one since I'm busy with con stuff, but I've heard mixed reviews, so hopefully it'll bring some fun discussion!
