I love Jason's theory that the bad guy who killed Xander Cage at the beginning of the second movie is really wearing Vin Diesel's face in Return of Xander Cage in an act of redemption. But I'd like to posit ANOTHER theory. What if the entirety of Return of Xander Cage is really just the last few moments of Xander Cage's life from the second film and Return of Xander Cage really is just the fever dream of a dying man a la Jacob's Ladder?!
