I wanted to know what was the difference between the files that said "secret" and the ones that said "confidential."

40 minutes into this movie I was checking to see when it would end but then it took a turn for the better and I was glad I stuck around. What a crazy movie though! I can't wait to hear what the gang has to say about it. Also, I'm very grateful it was on Amazon Prime and I didn't have to pay to watch this.

Yes! You just know that when those two came back from their night off they had that mess waiting for them to clean up because Giorgio and Pamela are extremely inconsiderate house guests.

Great episode! I particularly liked the part about the improv coach giving harsh notes to the children. I wish that scene had gone on a bit longer.

He seems to have no idea how to cook for a large amount of people either. His timing is all off. He's got tons and tons of pasta cooked and ready to go but there are piles of raw meat sitting out on the counters. The meat is going to take way longer to cook than the pasta, Giorgio. Get it together.

Although the person who wrote the review about this movie and their experience with hitting puberty and watching this movie was completely over the top, it reminded me a little bit of the feeling I got when looking at my mom's copy of this record back in the day. I'm perplexed by it now.

I was at this show and wanted to raise my hand and ask a question but chickened out and didn't, so I'm going to say my piece here. I really wanted to know more about that nun. Where was she flying to with that loaf of bread and other groceries? Did the car bring her to her plane after it dropped off Giorgio or did she get stuck there on the tarmac next to his plane? I would have preferred a movie about her travels. It was bound to be better. Also, Paul's Italian accent in this episode was flawless.

Here are my stray thoughts on this movie:< Shad, the bouncer who is terrible at his job, seems to be using a drill to threaten people with like one would with a gun, at various points in the movie. At one point, they show Shad, who again is a terrible bouncer, openly watering down liquor at the bar. First, why is it the bouncer's job to do this and secondly, why would they do it right out in the open on a busy night? Is the subcommittee on sugar on actual thing? I did some pretty basic research on this and found no such subcommittee. Sugar policy is probably discussed in the House Committee on Agriculture but I don't think they have their own separate subcommittee.

I really hope that town isn't dumping solid waste into the lake but with those corrupt fat cats in charge, anything is possible.

Here are my thoughts on this movie: 1. If Cru were my paperboy, he'd not only not get a tip but I'd be calling his supervisor for driving over my lawn every day. 2.There's no way that kid sister would have quietly stayed in that garbage can while Cru had that conversation with his mom. 3.Those dirty mattresses they had on the practice jump ramp really bothered me. They looked so stained and gross and probably smelled bad. You know they probably pulled them out of someone's trash pile. And I'm sure they didn't bring them inside when it rained so they were all damp and moldy. I was at this show and it was super exciting to hear the podcast after seeing it. I'm not embarrassed to admit that I listened to it three times.

You can almost hear the futility in Paul's voice when he asks people to not email him to ask where to watch Rad.

What really annoyed me about this movie was that it wasn't actually a heist movie, it was a find-the-lady-who-has-the-code movie. The amount of time spent on the heist was tiny in comparison to running around the town after Maggie Grace and Will.

As I described it to someone when I got home "It was like listening to the podcast, but 100 times better."

I watched this movie with my husband (who BTW, does not listen to the podcast which makes him watching these movies with me seem even stranger. I mean, it's like doing a hard mountain climb but then not stopping to enjoy the view at the top). Anyway, near the beginning of the movie I commented that Polly and the Sky Captain were very unlikable and he said "They should show them eating breakfast together or something. People are always more likeable after you've seen them eat in front of you." I poo pooed that suggestion but then near the end when Dex showed up again and I mentioned how much more likeable he was even though he'd been on screen only a fraction of the time as the other two, my husband said "I think we saw him eat something earlier. That just proves my point." And indeed, I think Dex may have been eating or perhaps just chewing gum while he was looking at all of those maps. Husband might be on to something here.

Just for the record, I have two "What's Up Jerks" shirts because they are different colors, but it seemed superfluous to mention that on the phone call.

I feel like this is at least the 2nd time the topic of Hogwarts houses sorting has come up on the podcast and yet I don't think Jason has actually told us where he got sorted. I'm starting to think he's secretly a Hufflepuff and is ashamed of it.

I kept getting this movie mixed up with that Neve Campbell movie, Wild Things, and I have no idea why.

One thing that struck me while I was watching was that the whole thing seemed like a clumsy, lame metaphor for a young woman's budding sexuality (which sounds gross even as I type it). The whole thing about how on her 16th birthday a girl can either go good or go bad, where going bad seems to make you into a sexy man killer, totally played off the madonna whore type tropes. Add in the fact that it is all tied to the moon (i.e. menstrual cycles) and it sure seemed like that was what it was going for.

Here are my random thoughts from this episode: The old theme song is back! That was a surprise! The morning that the Naomi Watts wakes up and has sex with the son - there is no way that in her 50s (or even if she were in her 40s) she wakes up looking that good and ready to kiss an 18 year old boy. The whole scene where one son bites the other son and then he tends to his wound was such a wasted opportunity (like so many other wasted opportunities). I thought to myself that finally this movie might be getting good, but it wasn't. I found it very hard to believe these 18 year old boys stayed with their older lovers for 2 years. A fling with an older lover seems reasonable but a 2 year love affair? Are we to assume that they stayed at home at the beach houses for those two years? Didn't go to college or get jobs where they met other people? For a movie with a sexy premise, this movie did not have nearly enough sex. Or biting, slapping, or arguing. More conflict and more sex is what this movie needed.

At that point of the movie, my husband and I turned to each other and said "Finally this movie showed a little self-awareness."

Don't forget they even have their own Ladybugs branded bullhorn. Now that's corporate money at work.

The elevator thing struck me as really odd too! It totally deserved some kind of payoff with that many people saying "getting off" over and over.

I just finished listening to this episode and I like to come here and read the thread on episodes I just finished, even if they are old ones, to see what everyone else thought of it. I didn't see a thread for this one though. Am I just missing it in my search or is there not a thread for every episode?
