Hi all - I've cleared the caches server-side, so please clear your browser cache and try again. If you continue to experience this issue, please email me at andres@earwolf.com so I can try to pinpoint the specific problem. Thanks!

How can we improve the Earwolf.com forums?
andreslucero replied to andreslucero's topic in General Earwolf
The "even more important" project Jeff was referring to was the new Eardrop (http://www.earwolf.com/2011/11/eardrop-doubles-down/), which is now in the testing phases and should be ready to launch to the general public in a few weeks. Once that's done we'll have some time to finish working on the forums, but we don't have a specific timeline for it right now. -
Yeah, a better way would be to follow each individual comedian, or lists that have comedians in them. I happen to have such a list that I've been maintaining for a while: http://twitter.com/#!/andreslucero/funny-for-money

Thanks Joey! You can use the Benefactor Box to donate any amount you'd like: http://www.earwolf.com/donate/ Or you can donate to your favorite show by using the One-Time Donation box on that show's page. We appreciate your support!

I saw it last weekend with my son. The story is dumb as balls, but it's not so different from "Alvin and The Chipmunks", "Mr. Popper's Penguins" or any other factory-generated kid comedy. (Re: point #3 above, the Smurfs' history as mythical Belgian creatures is actually part of the plot!)

I thought Ken did the Jewish rap after Paul said "fuck this", but after listening a few more times I see you guys are right—both Scott and David say "Paul" right before/after that section.

Justin - although our shows are in a different genre, we're fans of tech podcasts as well (TWiT, 5by5, StackOverflow, etc.) and definitely look at what those guys are doing when thinking about the future of Earwolf. I agree, Leo would be an awesome guest for TWD! robstraws - there was a bug where posts weren't showing up immediately, so Justin probably re-posted a few times because he didn't see his thread showing up. I've deleted the duplicate posts.

Thanks all! We're evaluating a few different forum applications with more features than bbPress and hope to make the switch soon. -
Earwolf Guest Listing To Non-Earwolf Podcasts
andreslucero replied to astralweeks's topic in General Earwolf
We've considered adding TV/podcast appearances, although it would be difficult to keep up with long-term. It might happen if we can get the performers (or their reps) more involved in keeping their profile current. -
This one comes courtesy of Benjamin Klevay, depicting Bob in his typical state of distress. Thanks Benjamin! [attachment=2935,69]

Astralweeks - I've been thinking about this, but what happens if someone deletes a topic (or even a thread within a topic) that others have already commented on? I think it could be confusing to others that are trying to follow the thread, or who have posted on a topic that suddenly disappears. I'm curious to know when/why a thread would need to be deleted beyond the initial grace period (there are probably good reasons that I can't think of at the moment).
