The "even more important" project Jeff was referring to was the new Eardrop (http://www.earwolf.com/2011/11/eardrop-doubles-down/), which is now in the testing phases and should be ready to launch to the general public in a few weeks. Once that's done we'll have some time to finish working on the forums, but we don't have a specific timeline for it right now.

Andy Daly is also in this movie.

Thanks Joey!

I saw it last weekend with my son. The story is dumb as balls, but it's not so different from "Alvin and The Chipmunks", "Mr. Popper's Penguins" or any other factory-generated kid comedy. (Re: point #3 above, the Smurfs' history as mythical Belgian creatures is actually part of the plot!)

I thought Ken did the Jewish rap after Paul said "fuck this", but after listening a few more times I see you guys are right—both Scott and David say "Paul" right before/after that section.

Thanks all! We're evaluating a few different forum applications with more features than bbPress and hope to make the switch soon.

We've considered adding TV/podcast appearances, although it would be difficult to keep up with long-term. It might happen if we can get the performers (or their reps) more involved in keeping their profile current.

This one comes courtesy of Benjamin Klevay, depicting Bob in his typical state of distress. Thanks Benjamin!

Astralweeks - I've been thinking about this, but what happens if someone deletes a topic (or even a thread within a topic) that others have already commented on? I think it could be confusing to others that are trying to follow the thread, or who have posted on a topic that suddenly disappears.
I'm curious to know when/why a thread would need to be deleted beyond the initial grace period (there are probably good reasons that I can't think of at the moment).

This is a cool thread to test stuff in.

I'm not sure about Fringe specifically, but there are quite a few shows listed in the NYC area:

Thanks all, keep the suggestions coming.
Astralweeks - while we probably won't have IRC-style chat any time soon, I like the idea of a Q&A session with hosts/guests as a feature of the blog or forums.

We're looking into it—there seems to be an issue with the way our audio player loads the Flash module in Firefox 5. It should be working in IE, Chrome and Safari.
-
This should be fixed now.

Many of you have made suggestions for improving the forums, so here are some of the ideas we're considering:
- Facebook/Twitter login
- User avatars
- Recent activity view across all forums
- Better replies/threaded comments
- Ability to subscribe to threads via email
- Private messages
Let us know if there's anything else you'd like to see added or improved upon. What features do you use on other forums that you'd like to see at Earwolf? Help us help you!

Do you think expanding it to six featured episodes would help find the show(s) you're looking for faster? We'd like to have a balance where it takes fewer clicks to get to the content but isn't overwhelming for new visitors.

Thanks y'all - the links & streams should all be working now!

Thanks Marty - the download link has been fixed now!

Engineer Doug started a pretty good thread about this in the General Podcasting forum:
http://www.earwolf.com/forums/topic.php?id=604TWiT has also published a list of their equipment over the years, although some of this stuff is quite expensive:

"Loving wallop." So happy to have Eliza on an Earwolf show!

This movie may be TOO BAD to review! I... I don't know where they would even start.

+1. I think I saw this on my birthday the year it came out. A classic HDTGM head-scratcher!
