EPISODE 33 - TV News Control Room
ApathyMonger replied to JulyDiaz's topic in SPONTANEANATION with Paul F. Tompkins
I don't know anyone who does the meat/fish thing all-year round anymore. Probably old people. The only days my parents were ever strict on it were Ash Wednesday and Good Friday. -
EPISODE 383 — Return to Suicide House Part Boo
ApathyMonger replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Comedy Bang Bang
This is the first Halloween episode since the Doughboys podcast started, and I'd forgotten that The Burger Boy Nick Wiger was Leo Karpatze. I'd love to hear him on a regular episode. -
EPISODE 29 - Backstage at the Rush Concert: Live from Largo
ApathyMonger replied to JulyDiaz's topic in SPONTANEANATION with Paul F. Tompkins
Is the bit about there only being 1,000 people in Canada a Comedy Bang Bang call back? That's a deep cut. I can't remember what episode it's from; one of the live shows in Canada maybe? -
Still my favourite Nathan Fielder bit, from last year's Comedy Central Non-Denominational Christmas Special:

EPISODE 24 - Sports Club/Live at Largo
ApathyMonger replied to JulyDiaz's topic in SPONTANEANATION with Paul F. Tompkins
Yeah, I had no problem with the sound. No worse than a regular live episode of HDTGM. -
EPISODE 22 - A Clown Cemetery
ApathyMonger replied to JulyDiaz's topic in SPONTANEANATION with Paul F. Tompkins
I'm rewatching 30 Rock, and I never realised Jean Villepique played the therapist in the Best Scene of that show: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QTj47rcuM-4 -
Episode 1623 - Scott Aukerman
ApathyMonger replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Never Not Funny: The Jimmy Pardo Podcast
People are missing out by not seeing the video for this one. Not for the actual podcast, but the bonus segment at the very end. -
EPISODE 16 - An Intergalactic Performing Arts School
ApathyMonger replied to JulyDiaz's topic in SPONTANEANATION with Paul F. Tompkins
This might be one of my favourites yet. In other PFT news, Bojack Horseman's back on Friday! -
EPISODE 14 - An Urban Spelunkers Meeting
ApathyMonger replied to JulyDiaz's topic in SPONTANEANATION with Paul F. Tompkins
Both this and today's Players Club episode of Never Not Funny talk about the awfulness of having to move your car for Street Cleaning. This is something I've never heard of before today; I guess it's a US thing? -
EPISODE 13 - A Dental Convention in Scottsdale, Arizona: Live from Largo
ApathyMonger replied to JulyDiaz's topic in SPONTANEANATION with Paul F. Tompkins
For those who didn't see it, the PFT-hosted CollegeHumor's Comedy Music Hall of Fame: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VZsXvc66xlQ -
Good episode, but it would be hard for it to be as great as Natasha's last in-studio appearance, Phishing for Compliments, which was an all-time classic that spawned the Analyse Phish podcast AND Jack from the lumber yard AND Hot Saucerman and all the variations on that.

Best of the year, for sure. Definitely on my hump month best of list.

What's the reason for the odd mood lighting during Spontaneanation recordings?

Episode 1617 - Cristela Alonzo
ApathyMonger replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Never Not Funny: The Jimmy Pardo Podcast
...she's not Mindy. Oh, apparently some sites are reporting this? Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's not true. -
EPISODE 28 - Ben Schwartz: Second Chances with Donald Faulter
ApathyMonger replied to JulyDiaz's topic in With Special Guest Lauren Lapkus
Ben's grasp on his character is practically Pally-esque at times.- 34 replies

EPISODE 223 — Releasing the Bully
ApathyMonger replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Affirmation Nation with Bob Ducca
The whole thing about it coming back not on Earwolf and with a different name would go against that though. -
I hope that Paul appearing in Cage's next film won't affect the podcast doing Cage movies in the future.

Isn't that I Was There Too? -
Yes, Paul Feig is well known for his dislike of women.
-
Hey, I was just wondering if Cordero (or Shelby Fero, as she's a writer on it) would be on any Earwolf shows to promote Other Space. I watched it yesterday; it's an enjoyable show.

I love Con Air, and "Comic Con Air" is probably my favourite episode of NTSF:SD:SUV::
-
So, is Jane Lynch the only Party Down regular who hasn't appeared on the podcast? Scott almost has the full pack. I watched the first two episodes of Resident Advisors earlier, it's pretty good.

EPISODE 107 — Lake Placid: LIVE!
ApathyMonger replied to JulyDiaz's topic in How Did This Get Made?
So, did Nate Corddry volunteer to do a movie written by his old boss, or did he agree to do the podcast and it being a DEK movie was a coincidence? -
EPISODE 1 - A Denny's Parking Lot
ApathyMonger replied to JulyDiaz's topic in SPONTANEANATION with Paul F. Tompkins
I'm disappointed we never found out what happened to Chance after he decided to go back outside. I hope he's okay.
