CBB (and all Earwolf?) VIDEO PODCASTS!! (this is actual news, not a suggestion!)
ApathyMonger replied to johnnyhaggis's topic in Comedy Bang Bang
According to the VPN Twitter, the episode will be available to watch later, for those who missed it. Fun episode, especially once Riki and Mary Lynn came on. -
I love that the Would You Rather clip on the episode page is twenty minutes long. So many tangents!

I just watched the Robins diamonds ad. That's fantastic. -
Episode 17 — Twitter IRL

I only started watching Billy on the Street recently, it's great. A full episode, if people want to watch: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BAMxY3LCEMw -
I just listened to this episode and laughed so hard I got a headache and had to lie down. Scott and Jason getting Patrick to improvise a limerick about Obamacare was amazing, as was Jason's anniversary limerick.

Maurice LaMarche does a great Orson Welles, both as The Brain and elsewhere. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6i7ycxiog40

I'm surprised how invested I am in this story, despite never having played D&D.

Episode 12 — Do The Rap!
ApathyMonger replied to admin's topic in The Fogelnest Files with Jake Fogelnest
I've only ever heard Jensen guest on other shows, so I had no idea he used to be a rapper. I like that even now his Wikipedia page redirects to "Hot Karl." That Flintstones rapping bit was great. I never knew that was where that stupid "My Name Is" thing came from. -
Episode 9 — Politics!

Another great episode. I'm happy Mark Russell exists, just because he inspired my favourite Newsradio episode, The Public Domain. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7FvW66hEjyo -
Weirdly it's not showing up when I searched, but the link from the movie's website works: https://itunes.apple.com/us/movie/the-comedy/id560981750#

Episode 3 — Awesome Dudes and Total Jerks

From the last episode, but I just found out Soul Man is streaming on Netflix UK. Oddly tempted to try watching it. -
Episode 2 — The World of Cinema

Here's the playlist: http://www.youtube....g9QYJXSBCCjAlFx The Diddlee Squat clip is great. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hDwwZ7H9XpY&list=PL3r0xwQOwaLUpUdBb4g9QYJXSBCCjAlFx&index=1&feature=plpp_video Young blond Martin Mull in the FM trailer looks weird. -
I had no idea until you said that that Leykis was based on a real person. Wow.

How is "Superman's Pal, Werner Herzog" not a thing yet? I would absolutely read that.

Episode 1 - Julie Klausner, Chris Gethard
ApathyMonger replied to CarolineEAnd's topic in The Fogelnest Files with Jake Fogelnest
Really enjoyed the episode. Looking forward to the next one already. -
You don't, it's really bad. They didn't even tell Graham Linehan, the writer/creator of the original, that they were making it. It was made by the people who are taking over Community, which doesn't fill me with confidence.

He's fantastic on Garth Marenghi's Darkplace and Man To Man With Dean Learner too. The movie he directed, Submarine, is very good too.

Great episode. The Scottish TV series Greg mentioned, Taggart, is actually still running: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taggart They've done 27 (short) seasons since 1983. The Twitter feed for the UK TV series QI announced yesterday that Greg will be on an episode this year, which should be fun.

Episode 37 — Speed 2: Cruise Control
ApathyMonger replied to admin's topic in How Did This Get Made?
I only saw Alien 3 for the first time last week, and had no idea Newt being killed was coming. That was ridiculous and awful. I like how, from Ripley's POV, all 4 Alien movies take place in like a week. That's a really awful week. -
If people want more Garry Marshall, they should definitely pick up PFT's latest DVD, Laboring Under Delusions: http://www.amazon.co...tag=comedybb-20 Garry does the commentary on it, but rather than talk about anything actually happening onscreen, goes off on tangents such as his idea for a romcom featuring Pol Pot, and how to commit the perfect murder. It's brilliant. The actual DVD is good too.

Great episode. Can't believe I'd never heard that Leonard Nimoy song before.
-
I loved this episode. The bizarre whales improv was fantastic.
-
I don't know if you noticed this, but this episode isn't appearing in my iTunes yet.

Scott is completely right about that saxophone solo during the Fleet Foxes album. I saw them live a few months ago and that one minute doesn't work at all.

Great episode. Very nice to have Adomian back, if only temporarily. I've missed his characters.
